I need help figuring this out. The person who I drew this for said all his friends thought the lion warrior looked to girly. I.. don't really see it so maybe someone could give me some tips? I really don't want to have to redraw the whole thing. I thought maybe giving him a fangy grin might help.. see what you think? [yes I forgot the tail, that will be added in also.] [This is my first attempt at adding a pic so if it's too big, I'm sorry. redface ]

i say that you should add more muscle tone, mostly to the arms nd you can also make the pants/or the hips more square, because they seem to curve, like a woman's body .. nd maybe the hair- it looks too flowy to be manly, it should be more stringy or tangled-looking? -- hope this asn't too much nd good luck with the picutre biggrin

See I made the arms beefy [I do agree I didn't enhance the muscles yet, I was hoping to add it in with colours.] Square how..? I purposely made it uncurvy -ponders- but maybe not enough? As for the hair, his description said it was near his shoulders and I was trying to accomplish that plus make it look like a lion's mane. How can I make it tangle or stringy? -listens-

Here is his description, which is what I had to go on.
He is a tiger-like Rajamala and is at an average height of 5 feet, 9 inches. His fur is golden tan, reflecting gentle light from either the sun or moon, whichever lies within the sky. Gold blonde locks fall to just below his shoulderblades, framing his face with a gentle sight. Stout nose, and curved ears mark him for his kind, though his frame is gently built, proving he works just as hard to keep himself in shape as he tries to keep himself looking presentable. Soft, grey eyes complete the gentle features he posesses, one not overpowering the other, but all combine to prove his spirit.

And yeah, it's hard to make him ferocious when he has such a gentle disposition in his description. Do you think adding the tail.. I could hide the hips a bit with that? I'm trying to think of how to logically position it so it could maybe curl and hide that curvature.

adding a tail probably would help with the hips and agreed w. the people earlier, his body shape looks more one the femenine side and same with the hair. this always happens...i look up stuff to help people and its just like...what the heck was i thinking :] well i found this one picture that might b able to help with the muscle tone:
http://oron-kevin.deviantart.com/art/the-Warrior-25898572
it has like bulky muscles which should help you get an idea for the arms and legs. also, another thing i notices is that the arm holding the sheild is completally shorter then the arm holding the spear thing. i think the arm is behind the body but i dont no? ok last thing :] no offence or anything but the butterfly and that squirl that u drew give a girly effect too so u no. even though the way u did the eyes on the squirl look amazzing might i add but the way they look give a girlyish effect hope that helps mrgreen

He's a druid and in the game the animals are his familiars. The squirrel is actually a lemming, but the description of it seemed very similar to a squirrel so I used that. [and when it's done, it will be wearing a red vest. Yeah, don't ask me.] Thank you for your critique! I'll take it all in as I try to work on it. [I'm procrastonating -whimper]
