hey one thing that really anoyed me during marching band was when our band director would say "one more time" and then we would end up doing it like three more times after that. we made a shirt for him about that and he still didn't change surprised any other sayings you like or dis like of your bd's?

We got a new band director. She loves saying "Counting will set you free". We all hate when she says that. My director in sixth grade would get mad alot. His face turned red and he would scream "I'm not doing this for my health!" I thought it was funny.

My BD tells us to play nasty, ugly and loud
because we're a marching band, not a concert band
'especially with one of the shows we're doing this year

lol my band director would tell us to "push the stands back with our sound"
one kid took him serious and put his horn down and tried to push the stands....
