I’m Confused…
A sunless sky,
A moonless night.
There isn’t noise,
There is no fright.
As if the words I say are gone,
The wind is longer than the sun.
Today I watched in awe
But then I looked away.
It’s gone! But where?
To what the reason?
As if I’ll get a final treason…
It’s there again! But how’d it hide?
There are no clouds, I’m terrified!
Today a staring sun, but why!?
Of all the days, why testify!?
Oh wait… I’m thinking…
… It’s too hard to think.
With all this heat, I’m soon to blink…
So maybe I can relax and shrink…
… But then what might happen?
Would I get stepped on?
Today I’d fall?
A bird would eat me,
Alive and all?
But maybe I’d meet
As a final hold
A day as good…
As real gold.
Or maybe not…
… But maybe so?
I couldn’t think…
… Now where to go?
