Though nothing actually happened, IV thought he'd make a good show of it. Kin to the Death Ward of the pitiful Clerics of any deity that would seek to stamp out undead, the Life Ward creates a line of defense against the powers of the divine for beings of evil and undeath. IV began to writhe on the ground, making various gurgling noises and forcing rivers of blood to begin sprouting from his skin as he started to thrash about on the ground. Upon close inspection through the thrashing his skull was rapidly reforming as his height began to increase and his back started to arch. The spines on his arms and the wristblade had either broken off in his thrashing or were released as part of the show. His skin seemed to be growing darker and rougher beneathe his blood, the ultimate goal being a coat of brown scales.

As the lance came down upon him IV thrashed, for lack of a better word, out of its path, rolling to one side until he was once again face down, where he pushed off the ground and into a spin in the air as a rain of blood poured from his body. By now he was nearing three times the size of Zaroe with great clawed hands and a sort of chitinous armor upon his back that seemed to reflect the light. What wasn't covered by the chitinous plate seemed to be composed of brown scales, each with a growing spine on each one. When he landed he'd be facing in Zaroe's direction, down on all fours in a position as if to pounce upon his prey.

IV leaped up from his crouching position with phenominal strength, to the point where when he'd be expected to start falling back to earth, he did not. His ultimate goal was to get close to Zaroe, if at all possible. To aid him in his endevours an Improved Flight spell was cast. No wings sprouted from him, nor was there any other sign of the possible flight, simply the fact, which might be rather startling, that such a large beast would not be falling back to earth. He was approaching 35 feet in height at this point, showing no signs of stopping.

The projectile ran IV straight through, shattering through his carapice as another shower of blood filled the air. The damage done was already quickly healing, specifically to the entrance point and through him until it reached an exit point. IV halted his advances on Zaroe, halting in midair and ripping at the lance with one of his rather large claws as the other thrust forward, unleashing a huge swirling orb of white energies, pure force magic. Its target had been designated as the end of the barrel, 'programmed' to travel through until it could no longer, or reached the end, and then detonate.

((This will likely be my last post for 4 days. If it is at all possible could you start putting distances? (english system prefered) I'm trying to now picture the area in my head and its getting hard because IV is getting rather big.))

As Ambeal exploded the Orb of Force stopped, its target gone and needing redirection. The shards that went flying pierced IV's hide partially, and were quickly cast out. As Iv spun to meet his opponent a great orb of bone burst from his chest, from which a small bead was propelled towards Zaroe, though it was more than likely it would detonate before it could reach him in a 30 foot radius spread of flame. The Orb of Force was redirected in the spin to target Zaroe, which would on impact explode with pure force energies, to which there are no inborn resistances. Blood began to well up in IV's mouth as he reached his full height of 42(.5) feet, the begining of a silent spell begining to glow upon his fingertips.

((The claim that there are no resistances to Force holds true only if your character obeys the laws of physics ^_^ (I know some that don't >.>) Force as in the physical force, like shoving somebody... Think an explosion like Magic Missile ^_^))

IV's giant maw pulled up into what could be contrued as a grin. One giant claw thrust to the heavens as the other swung below, and before the downward swing could complete IV seemed to disappear for a moment, only to be replaced by 4 of the great beasts, each of which spat a veritable wave of blood.
