What bothers me though is the fact they didn't lower travel form for druids who get it at 30. I was hoping they would lower travel form by like, 6 levels or something like that. Getting a mount and travel form at 30 sucks for them. Thank goodness I leveled my druid when I did.
The druid travel form has many more aspects to it then just travel. It is great for pvp. If feral, it allows for quick catchup to those who kite, and if balance or resto, it allows for that quick get away so you can kite. In the gultch, for example, it makes you one bad a** flag carrier. I amlost always make it back to base, unless I run into them directly. Stealth with cat, grab flag, sprint, switch to travel form once outside, run like hell! Though fear sucks in travel form. As an instant cast, it is great in pvp, plus, it doesn't drain your mana real bad to switch to it. Plus, I'm sorry, but for lvl'ing until atleast 30, feral is the best way to go, and with talents, you get a speed boost to your cat form as soon as you get it. So it all works out in the end.
