Sjajan was shooting pebbles at the mansion's side, careful not to hit windows as she muttered quietly to herself. She was mad at Kuoi and Korist again. Why? Boys seemed to get more and more stupid as they got older. Other than Lyrus, she liked him. And Yukito. But the other boys sucked. A low growl came from she throat and she shot one with more force, a tiny dent left in the side of the building. She'd gotten good with it, and was punished less for denting things that weren't her brothers.

The music blaring from Kilah's headphones was heard long before she and Gizmo would be sighted. With her hearing 'enhanced', it was amazing she hadn't become deaf and blind as a result. When the griff landed, she reached over to the control reading 'VOLUME' and scrolled it down to 0. Pause button? Screw that.

Grabbing a handful of feathers, she carefully made her way to the ground and motioned for her 'eye dog' to follow. He loyally did so, as always, watching carefully incase she tripped or something. She knew the way to the mansions door by heart, though, so there were rarely problems other than stumbling over rocks.

She took notice of someone else being present, but didn't recognize the voice muttering. Therefore, it was no concern of hers. Mind your business, right? Tugging the mansions door open, she leaned in and listened, annoyed when she heard no one. "Guess they're not here, oh well."

Turning back around, she yawned and stretched her arms above her head. "Let's go set something on fire."

Jani had paused her target practice the second that Akilah had started to walk toward the door. She knew that girl, not well, or even by talking to her. No, by reputation, stories, and the casual insult she'd been thrown as a baby. When she'd tried to retaliate, she was ignored for her size. Smiling a bit when the bigger girl didn't hear who she was looking for, Sjajan aimed her slingshot at the girl, not trying to hit her, but shooting the pebble so it was pretty damn close. She had to grin as she remembered hitting the stick Lyrus had been about to kick out of his path. Still, he seemed far more amicable than Kilah did.

The chicken girl was blind, wasn't she? Which meant she'd have trouble finding Sjajan without that bird-thing if she wanted to attack her. That wasn't fair, Jani didn't like cheating, so she stepped forward and spoke up.

"Hullo, Kilah!"

She didn't expect the larger girl to know her, and even if she knew her name, she probably wouldn't recognize her voice. Still, her name was unimportant, and she didn't say it yet. Probably wouldn't, unless it was asked for. And she didn't think Kilah would ask.

Gizmo had nodded his head. Apparently, he'd failed to notice the other Sin'aeis as well. The griff noticed what Kilah noticed. And, Kilah had noticed what felt like a rock whooshing by. While her reaction was merely raising an eyebrow, Gizmo snarled loudly and lowered a bit as if preparing to pounce, the fire on his tail bursting to life.

"Who the hell are you?" Kilah questioned, and her tone made it obvious she didn't care all that much. Voice? Didn't recognize it. Pondering it over for a grand total of three seconds, she dubbed it unimportant. Must be some friend of Aard's or something. Sounded young. Tomato boy must be a pedifile.

Sjajan surprised herself by not being upset at Gizmo's growls, or the way Kilah spoke. Any good pet should protect their owner, and her own sister was ruder than that. Jani was ruder than that. She couldn't help but grin at Gizmo's protectiveness and considered him a good creature for caring about his companion. Who was she? Her name would be nothing. She'd have to associate herself with people. Who would Kilah know?

"Jan's muh name. Frien' o' Lyrus, Miggy, Junki, Yuki, Beagely, 'Vana... Y'get th' idea."

She didn't need to keep going, did she? Sticking her slingshot in her back pocket, she purposely stepped on a few twigs, letting Akilah know where she was moving.

Nobody was unlucky enough to step on that many twigs. It was annoying, nothing more. So, she was a Maelon, was she? That little brat who had thought she was 'helpless' and got a punch in the face for it.

"That's good for you," she offered carelessly, clearly uninterested. First thought: Who the ******** talked like that? This kid must have some speech problem or something. "Well, uh...Jan, right? You have fun." With a nudge to the side, Gizmo glanced up at her and snorted.

Kilah clutching one of his wings, he led her over to the mansion door.

Sjajan had tried to be nice. Not because she felt sorry for Akilah, no, she had plenty of 'disabled' siblings that kicked some major a**. Her favorite cousin was blind, and she was the toughest person Jani knew. No, she had tried because Parvana had told her that people who hurt others, who hurt people like Yukito, they did it because they hurt too. But now, the blonde was angry.

"'Ey! Jus' becoz yer a tuff-a** dun mean yah can be a jerk alla th' time!"

Sjajan had been insulted by Kilah when she was a baby just for saying hello. For being curious, because her friend happened to like the chicken-girl.

"Yer jus' fulla hot air, aren' yah?"

The chicken Sin'aeis sighed heavily. All things considered, and taking her temper into account, she was rather calm when she cranked her head over her shoulder toward the toddler. Gizmo had the same weird look on his face.

Turning around completely, Kilah muttered something. "...What the ******** are you saying?"

Jani's speech was a lot clearer than her older sister's, and in fact, if they didn't hang out together so much, she'd probably be able to speak properly. It took effort to, anyways. Plus, she'd only recently become a toddler, and was having trouble with words.

"Jus' because yah gotta be tuff, doesn' mean yah gotta be an a** alla th' time. Yah prolly not as mean as yah seem."

"What hell is she saying?" Kilah asked to seemingly no one, though Gizmo took it upon himself to answer.

"Wark," he offered, along with a shrug of his shoulders.

Either the Sin'aeis hadn't heard or just ignored him. After a moment of thought, she decided it wasn't worth the effort and climbed up onto the griffs back. "Well..." What was her name again? "...uh, you, go...play, or something. When you can speak some English feel free to have another b***h fit."

She sounded bitchy. Maybe she wanted ice cream or something. With a kick of her heel, Gizmo got the point and shuffled back before springing forward into the air. Within seconds the two were mere specks in the sky.
