Disabled? Like, unable to live without the support of other people? Pfft, I'm the owner of this hospital, that's MY life support apparatus, and I'll kick Grandma off it if I want. What am I, an elderly-person-supporting machine? HELP, HELP, I'M BEING OPPRESSED!!

Coming from a daughter(and therefore a woman) of a woman in a wheelchair, a grandaughter of someone 100, someone 99, and someone 87, of a person who is legally classified as disabled, and the minority group that is Norwegian-Italian-Dutch Americans (How many times have you heard of a NIDA, eh? They aren't even on the list at the DMV where it asks your nationality!), that offends me.
How the hell is my life more at stake than my unborn cousin's? Because...somehow if I lose the legal right to kill my child to make my life easier, I'll melt on the spot?

yes, how i hate that- "woman are worth more" "living peopleare worht more than unborn ones" ...they seem to forget, in most cases, it's not a life for a life, it is a life for a few months of discomfort. it's not an equivalent tradeoff, it's not really a choice between who gets to live, it's a choice of wether or not one has to deal with responsibility or sacrafice a life
