This won't even be out until March 2010, but I wanted to mention it anyway because I'm anticipating it so, and will be watching for updates on it and any pictures.

Tim Burton will be directing a adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, using motion capture CGI and live action. It'll be available in 3D. The little known Australian actress Mia Wasikowska will star as Alice ( http://www.miawasikowska.com ). I've heard Johnny Depp will play the Mad Hatter, but that's unconfirmed.

Tim Burton is absolutely the perfect person to make Alice in Wonderland, in my opinion. I'm very much looking forward to it.

Definitely don't want to be the bringer of bad news, but I heard that that film was canceled... I'll have to scare up a cite, though.

Call me cynical, but I just hope it's not a CGI nightmare. Don't get me wrong; I love me some CGI when it's done right but a lot of films have been over using the technology. That's one of the things I liked about Iron Man. They actually built the costume, and that made it more believable to me. Though it would be cute if Tim did it in the style of Nightmare Before Christmas.

Now go ahead and call me a hypocrite, because I'm probably going to see Star Wars this weekend. lol
