Guys.... I'm so confused! crying What in the world is going on?!?!?! I'm on episode 9 after Rika and Sotoko die, and after Mion leaves, and thet're all back again! What's going on?! And why did Keichi die and come back again?! UGH!!!

Ok, I'm only saying this...and you have to highlight this section to read it, so check at your own risk!
To be blunt-ish, Hinamizawa is in a time loop, one person [or should I say 2 people] actually know what is going on and they are seeing if they can stop the Hinamizawa Disaster from happening and from the gang from killing each other.
If you want a super big spoiler about the Oyashiro curse, just tell me.

Yep, season 1 pretty much makes us think about what's going on...& it answers a few questions...while season 2 answers everything else. Also, it's really plot heavy so you have to pay attention.

Hmmmm... I'm feeling pretty dumb right now, but I'm starting to get it. Also, I'm still REALLY early in the series. I'm only on episode 12 of Season 1, after Keichi kills Satoko's uncle. Poor evil abusive man.

The first season is a giant puzzle. The story resets ever 4 episodes. It's explained later on in season two.
