I didn't see a topic on Stone Sour so I decided to make one.

Perhaps the most known side projects of Slipknot. Includes Corey Taylor (Vocals) and Jim Root (Guitarist) from Slipknot. In addition Roy Mayorga (drums), Josh Rand (Rhythm guitarist), and Shawn Economaki (Bass).

Not many people know this but Stone Sour was actually formed before Slipknot. Just a little fact.
Stone Sour is currently on hiatus, of course, due to the Slipknot being back.

My first Concert was seeing Stone Sour! It was amazing. It was also Stone Sour's last concert before Corey and Jim had to go work on Slipknot. Stone Sour is my favorite band, yes, on top of Slipknot but I still like Slipknot a lot too.

What is everyone's expeirence with Stone Sour? Opinions? Any news (which I'd probably know first hand though because I am a part of the Dead-Generation)?

Most Slipknot fans don't like Stone Sour because it's Alternative Rock or whatever, but I like it.
I'm not a metalhead or anything, so I can listen to whatever I want and get away with it.

...wow...I cant believe there wasnt a stone sour thread...

I love stone sour...I always hear little lines in their songs that sound like slipknot references, ya know like in Bother "the zombie hides my face"
...im probably the only one who notices junk like that...

yeah I was also surprised that there wasn't that's why I made one haha. but I've noticed that "zombie hides my face" thing too...but that's the only reference to Slipknot that I've heard in Stone Sour though.

I was just looking for something in my closet, and I looked up and saw that I have a Stone Sour belt.
I had completely forgotten about it.

I was going to wait until I got a shirt or something to wear it.
It probably doesn't even fit anymore :/
