Sweet! That stopped him. Nai gets to her camp at the base of the cliff, sets the coconut in the basket with the other gathered food. She sits and relaxes and pops some berries in her mouth. But instead of relaxing like she had hoped, she can't shake a nagging feeling. Thoughts of him being alone and with no food lingers in her mind.Damn it.
She gets up and puts together a slightly larger basket with all the berries and fruits that she has gathered earlier today. She was hoping to have some left over for the morning so she could sleep in, opposed to getting up early to gather some breakfast.
Sigh. It's not that big of a deal, I shouldn't be lazy anyways She picks up the basket with her mouth, but surprised with how heavy it was she almost dropped it. Gaining her balance, she continues to walk back to where she found the coconuts. Passing by, Nai carefully tries to pick one up with her tail.
Yeah, this isn't going to work. She then slowly puts down the basket, picks the coconut up and placed it within the same basket. Again, carefully picks up the basket with her mouth and continues her way back to the shore.
Grateful that Tori is still there she picks up her pace a little bit, but ultimately looses her footing and trips over her own feet. The basket is dropped, fruits are scattered, and a coconut rolls towards Tori. Where's the other coco- Then the last coconut bonks Tori on the head.
On that note she says with a shy smile, "Sorry, I brought some dinner. I hope you like coconut." She continues to pick up the fruits and drags the basket towards where Tori is sitting.
((Pssh, No! I expect battles woman. lol XD))

Tori didn't mind that Nai had left. If you had to do something, there was nothing wrong with it. He shrugged as she went on to where ever she had to go. Moving a little closer to the shore, he lay back down. Paying attention, again, to the almost dark sky. Using his paw to mess with the sand, he waited for it to be completely dark. There seemed to be something Tori liked about traveling in the dark.
Minding his own business, once again. His ears began to twitch. Looking back, all he saw was Nai getting up from the ground. Seeing fruits and such scatter, it was only like him to want to go help her out. But before he knew it he was plopped by something on the head. Rubbing his head, he looked around.
"Oww.."
Bringing his attention back to Nai, he watched her walk over. His head still throbbed after being his with a coconut. Dinner? He didn't expect her to come back with dinner. Hmm. Not to mention something Tori hadn't eaten before. But he was surely going to try it. He looked at the coconut, then back at Nai.
"It'ss alright. And no, I've never tried coconut.."

Plotting down next to Tori, she looks at him surprised.
"What? You should definately try it then. It's pretty tasty, and kinda sweet."
She puts together two separate piles of fruits one for each of them. Carries one coconut to the nearest boulder. She stands on her hind legs, and with her front paws she smashes the coconut on the boulder to crack it in two. She slowly put the coconut on the ground, so not to spill the nectar within, opens it and puts the empty half underneath the other. Nai carries it back to Tori's pile and does the same with her coconut.
She lays out the coconuts before getting comfortable in front of her pile.
"Ok, so you can drink the nectar and in the empty half you can eat the white 'meat' as some describes it. It's pretty good, my favorite part is drinking it of course. Much more sweeter that way."
She smiles, then chows down on her long awaited dinner.
((joking about the battles, but yeah would be interesting if this went to a battle you know. Something like bleach or naruto but with ulayas. XD That would be some funny stuff.))

With the mention of just one word, the word 'sweet', Tori's eyes widened. Tori loved sweets, and would act like a child when such deserts were upon him. Surely something he had to have gotten from his mother, seeing as how his mother acted like a child all the time. Either way, he loved sweets! So, coconuts was something he'd surely try without hesitation.
Awaiting his new lovely sweet treat. His tail moved about happily as he watched Nai open the fruit. It seemed like a lot of trouble, and he surely would've helped if he knew how too. Watching Nai come back to him and lying his in front of him, he only again watched her go back. Having to open her own coconut, he looked down upon his, thinking what he might do next. Seeing her come back, and telling him more about it. He looked down at it once again, then back at Nai. After a few seconds, he decided to take a couple licks of the nectar, not wanting to stop drinking it.
"Thiss isss quite yummy." He nodded, going back to drinking the rest of it.

Nai giggles at Tori.
"I'm glad you like it."
The longer she looks at him her curiosity rises, but not in a suspicious way; she's intrigued. A green Uyala with red eyes and a snake tongue. How did he get here? And where is the rest of the family that he was talking about earlier? She continues to eat her fruits as she ponders this questions and come up with different answers and scenarios.
"So Tori..." She stars to speak with her mouth full and quickly washes it down with a couple laps of coconut juice. "Why are you here down the shore by yourself? Uhm, that is if you don't mind me asking."
Nai hopes she wasn't being rude or anything. She wouldn't want to have gone this far then all of a sudden scare him away... like the others.
((a lover pfft! lol do you always put a bunny there with a code, or do you have where it does it automatically? I want to know how to do that. >.>))

Tori nod as she spoke. He rather liked it a lot. And would surely come around to eating it again. Finishing up the nectar of the coconut, Tori began nibbling on it now. He couldn't find himself to stop eating it. He didn't even notice that Nai was staring at him. Something he'd usually notice from far away. With the sound of Nai's voice, Tori looked up, chewing on the coconut he had in his mouth.
Now that Tori was alone, he wondered around a lot. Trying to find, and learn new things. But to him, it was rather lonesome. He dealt with it well, however. And today, he just found himself at the shore. Lucky enough for him, the sun was about to set as he had gotten here. And now, it was basically over. But the night didn't scare him, he always had light on his side.
Licking his lips, Tori answered her. "I jussst wondered here." He nodded, giving her a friendly smile.

"You just wondered here? I wish I could travel without any purpose. Just to go and discover and experience the world as it is." Nai says with a dreamy look on her face.
"But that's impossible for me. Well, for now anyways." She pauses for a second to decide if it's a good idea, but goes for it anyways. "You see, I'm on a 'mission' if you will. To find out as much as I can about my past."
She finishes eating and lays on her tummy. She starts to lick her paws and in between licks she continues her story.
"The last thing I could remember is waking up in a cave with these paintings on them. I spent weeks there trying to figure out what each picture meant and that's when I discovered that my name was Nai. I also noticed in the pictures that who ever left me there traveled. So I copied the paintings on the left over blankets and took them with me. I'm here looking for another cave they could have possibly dwelled in, maybe there's some more answers there."
She looks up from licking her paws, "I hope I'm not boring you... am I boring you?"

"Traveling isn't any fun when you're doing it alone." He nodded.
Tori listened to Nai as she spoke. Finishing the food she brought him, he wasn't bored at all. He liked others company, and thought her story was rather interesting. He thought it'd be rather nice to travel for a purpose. Unlike Tori, he was just wondering about because he was on his own now. So now be was only left to wonder and figure out what the rest of his life would lead to.
"Not boring at all. I find it rather interessting, actually." He nodded again.
His tail moved about in the sound. Quite intrigued with what she had to say, he gave her a smile. Not knowing what else she might say, he waited for her to speak again. Maybe she'll have more interesting things to say.

Nai continues happily after knowing that her new friend isn't bored with her yet.
"Well, I've been searching for sometime now and have yet to find another cave with similar paintings. I think I'm reading some of the symbols wrong. I'm just curious as to what exactly happened that they all had to leave and left me by myself." She says with curiosity in her voice.
Nai starts to think to herself. Maybe what she really needs is another set of eyes. Someone who can see things in a different light and find clues that she probably looked over. Another mind to help crack puzzles on this quest for answers to her past. Plus, she wouldn't mind the company. Especially the company of this green fellow, Tori seemed like a smart and funny guy.
"Uhm, do you think maybe....." She shifts her paws a little.
"That you can join me, unless you have some other pressing matters to take care of i understand..."
She looks at her green friend awaiting an answer.
