"Alright," Marco said as he put his wooden spoon down on the stove and went to lead Emmet into the living room next door. He put his hand on the small boys back to guide him there gently.
"Yes, I am always up this early, it takes a little time to prepare breakfast for all three of them," Marco said smiling as he picked up the remote, "I think Batman is on, I saw Romeo and you were playing that yesterday. Would you like to watch Batman or something else?" Marco asked turning the channel to Batman until the boy decided.

Emmet slithered into the other room with Marco, looking between the adult and the way in front of him. "Oh. You s-sleep like Riley." The little boy commented then, curling himself up into a comfortable ball on the floor and watching the channels change. "Never seen Batman before." He commented, putting his elbows on his tail and his chin in his hands. "C-Can I watch Batman?" His red pupils moved to focus on the older man.
That was pretty much where he stayed, watching TV until his friend woke up.

"Of course," Marco said with a smile placing the remote back onto the table and leaving to return to the kitchen.
Romeo woke up an hour or so later. The door to his room creaked open as he walked out rubbing his eyes. He walked down the hallway looking around to try and see where his friend had gone. When he first woke up he thought that maybe Emmet had changed his mind over night and didn't want to stay. When he heard Batman on he walked into the living room and spotted Emmet, "Emmet! Morning," Romeo said yawning that sounded suspiciously like a calf's moo. He walked over and sat down next to him still half asleep, "I was scared you left when I woke up," he told him dazedly looking at the other boy.

Emmet settled in to watch Batman until he heard the calf come into the room. He lifted himself up a little bit to look behind him, but didn't quite uncurl himself. He smiled at his friend, flicking his tongue out from between his lips. "G'Mornin." Was his response, rubbing his face with his scaled hand. The interesting noise the boy made made him giggle quietly.
"I get up real early." The little snake explained, leaning against his friend. The calf was always so warm, which was always nice to the usually cold Emmet. "Look, Batman's been on all morning!" He pointed out to his friend with a big smile.

Romeo nodded and looked at the TV. He was still half asleep and not too responsive. He yawned again and leaned forward a bit to watch the cartoons, he grabbed his toes with his hands and rocked back and forth slightly. Romeo always was the first up, but also took the longest to actually wake up.
Marco was still busy in the kitchen cooking all of their breakfast. The clang of plates and pans could be heard as well as the sizzling of food on the skillets.

Emmet was wide awake, but if Romeo wasn't going to respond he didn't see the point in trying to stirr up conversation, so he merely watched TV in silence. When it was time for breakfast though, he slithered towards the kitchen and quietly pulled himself up onto the chair; which was much easier said than done. Either way, the end of his tail wrapped around the chair leg, just in case.
He wasn't going to eat though, just sit there with everyone else.

Romeo sat in the chair next to Emmet and was finally starting to wake up as Marco set plates of food on the table. Deidre and Clay both looked just as dazed as their brother, apparently the three shared something in common. "My dad's a really good cook, bet you'll like breakfast!" Romeo said perking up as his dad made a second round putting glasses of orange juice at everyone's spot.
Marco sat down in between Emmet and Clay, "You don't have to eat if you don't want Emmet, I just didn't want you to feel left out," Marco informed the boy with a smile.

Emmet's gaze was down on the plate in front of him, then it shifted to Romeo when he spoke to him, and eventually landed on Marco. "O-Okay, Thank you." He nodded slowly to the Guardian, then looked back down at his food. Truth be told, he didn't want to eat at all; for some reason, it didn't even look appetizing to him. It smelt good, but he just...didn't want it. Whether it was due to his embarassment the night before, or because he had already eaten, or even whether it was his own personal picky nature, he still didn't want to eat. So he just stared at his food and shyly gazed around the table as the family was eating.

Clay looked over his plate and over to Emmet, he was expecting the boy to eat. He wanted to see him do that thing with his jaw again! If he weren't still groggy and half asleep he would probably try to egg him on to eat, but for now he just slowly ate himself and watched.
Deidre was paying absolutely no attention to anyone else at the table. She had a stuffed rabbit in one of her arms and she was daintily eating with her other. It was still a mystery to Marco how Dei could be so feminine while living in a house with three boys.
"Not hungry?" Romeo asked his pal as he was making way on his own breakfast. He seemed the most awake out of the three, most likely because he had his friend over.
