So yeah. About a week ago, I decided not to panic and try to rush finishing the big daddy suit (from Bioshock) for Connecticon on the 1st. I'm not scrapping the idea, 'cause I've put way too much work into it to just abandon it, but I'm going to try to have it done for the next con (which is in January, so it had better be done by then! XD).
Instead, I have constructed a steampunk-styled gas mask and am modifying some old converse into boots. I'm going for a fantasy-type steampunk look, with a pinstripe vest, a scarf, my super awesome pinstriped suspender-pants, leather workgloves, the boots, and mask, and various jewelery, trinkets, watch parts, and keys. I might check out the local Goodwill in a day or two to see if I can get another vest so I won't only have one top for the three days, but if not, I can deal. I'm also going to an antique sale this weekend, so I might pick up some other nifty trinkets too.

I need to re-watch all of that again sometime. xp
