...Anyway I did go to Animania, and it was the worst Animania so far. Seriously.
The new venue is complete fail: It's cold, noisy, and has a horrible layout. Also, its downright hideous.
Vendors were a joke, hardly anything for sale (I spent 5 minutes looking at what was for sale and that was it), and there was an overwhelming amount of bootleg plushies/figures/artbooks and wallets. It was appalling.
It was badly organized, some of the staff were really rude, and it was overall absolutely not 'australia's leading anime/manga expo'. Yeah right. If its this bad again next year I'll never go again.
The good things were the cosplayers as usual, the fact that I got the Haruhi box set, winning an art contest, and at least the MCs were amusing.

Sorry if I dont get to post here so much...it's because Gaia works horribly with the internet I have to pay for Dx I can use it fine at this very minute because I'm bludging in the free computer labs, but I cant do this all the time. Hopefully I get to once a week...although I can still check in on my normal computer of course, just not so often.
