I'm getting into sniping now. lol
it's pretty fun and low budget fun. fist, you can't snipe in paintball. you just can't. at best you could be 150ft away and rain on them, though they would know where you were from the sound of the marker.
in airsoft, the guns have a higher range, topping what I sopose to be 300ft. it's not much but it's enough. the guns are pretty much silent can much more accurate than a paintball.
thus allowing you to fire apon the enemy from a distanced unknown location: Sniping.

though I still like paintball more than airsoft, it's starting to get better.
it's better for scenarios for the cast that you can play inside and not get paint everywhere, but that's also it's biggest downfall.

even though it's complicated I know what you mean. being able to shoot at someone like a real bullet is the best in mil sim.
but not having the paint also makes you miss out.

snipings fun but it sucks after it rains so the bugs are out and your in the mud

yea, sniping is more of a winter thing, down here in Florida.
