Sir Ichigo Used book store = Best smell ever So true! Libraries too. It's such a wholesome, comforting smell.
I feel the exact same way about Beauty and the Beast, now that this thread has reminded me of it I have the urge to watch it. x3

I love the smell of old books. To me an old book carries with it the memories of its readers and the smell appeals to the reader whom's memory they would like to hold. While a new book carries the smell of only the printer's ink it needs others to fill it with smells. Thats my philosophy anyway. sweatdrop

Like with my poems I always hide a meaning inside a meaning. Because in the world of writting there will never be just one answer.

Oh the smell of books! It makes me as happy as finding that one book that you have been looking for ages to fill in a hole in a certain series...I love the smell of new books as well, but as someone up there said, Walmart books smell wierd. neutral I don't trust that Walmart with my books. My favorite, really old books have that really cool smell to them...Heh heh, I just realized how crazy this would sound to someone who doesn't read much. whee

Old books, old old books, and new books smell good. 3nodding I have noticed that books that are not old nor are they new like between 4-10 years old don't have much of a smell.

I have a really old copy of The Hobbit... not quite 100 yrs old, but it still smells like that. The only time old book smell isn't good is when it smells like rotten lindbergher cheese. Bad X.X

I like the old book smell. I can handle anything but the books that smell musky. Know what I mean by that musky smell?
