The early summer afternoon proved to be uneventful and there was certainly no sign of change. The young pup stared out over the horizen, her soft orbs squnted ever so slightly as the sun's rays shone in her orbs. Early this morning as her parents and siblings were sleeping, she found it to be the perfect oppertunity to venture off and discover the new world around her. Lifting her paw upward as she walked and lowering it slowly down upon the soft ground, she almost jumped. What was this that she was stepping on? This was new to her. Lowering her fragile cranium towards the ground, she sniffed the blades of grass curiously. A gentle roll of her shoulder was given as a shrug as she scenced it wasn't dangerous and there was nothing interesting about it at all. With a gentle sigh and no longer interested it, she moved foward.

She was bored. Bored out of her mind. She had trailed for some while allowing her tiny legs bring her where ever they pleased but made sure she wasn't too far away from home. If one of her parents would to wake, she would quickly run back before they even noticed she was gone. She had a feeling that wouldn't happen anytime soon. For what was she searching? Adventure perhaps. Or perhaps she was just looking for someone to play with. She stopped as something caught her eye. She watched a butterfly danced around her, its fragile wings flapped gracefully. Spiked tassel swayed back and forth as she watched the butterfly carefully, orbs glittering. As the butterfly landed upon her head, she quickly shook. White locks flung this way and that some and feel perfectly back into place as she shook the butterfly off. The butterfly began to move slowly away from her and without even realizing it, she followed. It seemed as though the butterfly dragged her along with it, something about it kept her drawn to it. "Get back here," her hard, almost secretive voice echoed as she spoke as she watched the butterfly flutter further away from her. The butterfly kept on going.

How dare it not listen to her. Did it not know who she was? She was daughter of a great death god, one whom she planned on taking the name of a death god once she was older as well. She liked her mother Rem better of the two although she did care very much for Zanna. Then again, she was a pup. What did she know? Shacking her head once more, she shot a glare at the butterfly. "I said get back here," she spoke once more, irritation was added to her voice. With that, she chased after the butterfly, in hopes of checking up to it.

Standing on top of a fallen log with her puffs of fur blowing in the wind she smiles. She wouldn't say that she had gotten away from her father but she did have a hell of a time slipping away. It was not like her father was protective or anything of her but he didn't like her wandering off. What could harm her out here? All the dragonflies she knew were nice and cared. Then again she didn't know many dragonflies but that was beside the point.

Letting out a little mock growl she jumps down from where was standing. But ended up some how tripping and landing on her back. Blinking a few times she laughs and rolls over to get up. "Stupid log!" She kicks a leaf at it then turns away. She knew it was not the logs fault but she was sure it had something to do with it. Trying to get the dirt from her white fur she huffs. "Now I need to go and wash up." Huffing again she starts towards a nearby stream that she always went to.

Upon seeing the water she walks a little faster and to get to it and start to wash. But first she took a small drink because for some reason she needed water. After a short drink she jumped into the water and started removing the dirt from her nice white fur. She had nothing against getting dirty it was just her father would freak knowing she had gone off.

The wind whispered in her ear as she ran after the butterfly, the sudden cool breeze stung her face but felt good under the hot sun. The image of the butterfly danced in her determined orbs although still aware of the on coming surrounds. The butterfly took her to a small, serene stream, which now caught her attention. No longer did she care for the butterfly for now she watched the crystal, clear water flow and drop down into a bigger pool. For a moment, she felt as though she was in her own little world, not noticing or even caring if anyone else was around. Taking in the sweet scents around her, she closed her eyes and couldn't help but sigh.

Ears flattened against her cranium as the sudden splash of water interrupted her tranquil moment. A low growl escaped her lips as she opened her orbs, scanning the surrounds. Nothing. A strange scent, one that she did not smell or perhaps even notice before, stung her nares. Izanami made her way over towards the unfamiliar smell only to find another dragonfly, the same size as she, in the water. Well just my luck. She thought to herself. When I thought no one would be around, this one comes along. Now its time to have some fun. Cautiously, she moved forward towards the newcomer showing no fear but just mere curiosity. As she stood upon the grass that grew near the water’s edge, now face-to-face to new pup, she fell to her haunches and examined the pup with an almost disgusted look. She blinked as she noted the dirt from head to tail and although it the pup seemed to dip into the water to get rid of it, it seemed as though it didn’t help much. Shacking her gentle cranium once, eyebrows cocked upward some, she parted her delicate lips to speak. “Who are you?” she questioned bluntly.

Ange was working hard to the the dirt from her fur when a odd smell hit her nose. Pausing for a moment to peer around once she frowns a little and goes back to washing the dam dirt from her fur. Normally she could get the dirt out nicely but this time it seemed to be cling to her. Taking a moment to think she knew why it was so hard to get the dirt out. It was because she had let it set in. Huffing a little to herself she kept her eyes on the water well her ears twitched at any sound that came near.

It was not long until she saw movement infront of her and looks up to see a pup her size. Blinking once then twice at the appearance of the pup she turns her head. She was taking in all of what the other pup looked like, and had to say that she had never seen such a unusual looking pup. The fact that she had only really seen her family never came up. She was about to speak when the other pup did so first.

She was not sure how to react to the rudeness of the question directed at her. But she didn't let that get to her as she put on a unhappy look. "What business is it of yours? Plus it is rude to go demanding others names without giving your own!" She had no problem eyeing the other pup with a mad look. Others could be so rude for no reason.

(Oh gees. I am so sorry it's been like forever. I was busy and plus my muse hasn't been very good to me lately, still isn't, but anyway.)

Well, she didn't think she was that rude. Izanami was taken back by the glare in the other pup's eyes that she couldn't help but look away. She never liked when she was in trouble, or for this matter, when someone gave her dirty looks. She never liked nor meant to make anyone mad but apparently, she did a good job with the other pup. As she shook her head slightly, her white and golden dreads flew this way and that, slapping the side of Izanami's face gently. Heaving a gentle sigh, she parted her lips to speak. "Well, I would like to know who it is that I am about to meet. Wouldn't you ask the same question when meeting someone new?" her eerie, echo voice was spoken with a cocked brow "Its just curiosity I suppose."

With a shake of her head once more, she spoke again. "Oh where are my manners?" Her tone of voice was as though she wasn't rude to begin with. A barely visible, sly smirk pinched the sides of her lips, although the reason for its appearance was unknown. "My name is Izanami," she added with a smile, her pearly whites shone under the early sun. "And yours?"

Ange puffed up a little more then the other pup looked away. She loved acting all high and mighty over other people because she was her dads little princess. But she was far from that, because she loved to play with her brothers and jump other dragonflies. A small frown crossed her face after what she had said set in. She shouldn't have been rude like that but it was to late now.

She had almost missed what the other pup had said because she was thinking. "Well Izanami, it is nice to meet you. My name is Ange." She thought about not bowing her head to the other dragonfly but remembered it was rude not to. So she bowed her head a little to the odd pup.

"Ange," she repeated as a way for her to remember the other pup's name. As she spoke her name and left her voice box, the words seemed to leave behind an usual after taste. Cocking her eyes brows slightly, she watched the other's actions. What is she doing now?! Besides her own family, Izanami hadn't had any interaction with another dragonfly nor knew of any other before until today. This pup was strange and her actions were even stranger. She sat there for a moment, her cranium cocked to the side. "What did you just do?" she asked with a curious tone in her voice.

Ange blinked for a moment. "What do you mean? I was being respectful to you because I had snapped at you before. I bowed my head also to be friendly." This pup was really odd if she didn't know about respecting others. But maybe it was just the dragonflies that she had met. Sitting and wagging her tail for a moment she frown when she saw that the dirt had not come out of her while fur yet. So she set to work at trying to get it out again.

She too couldn't help but blink. "Oh so is that what you do?" She thought but found herself asking the question aloud. "To be nice? Well then," she added. "I'm sorry for being so rude," with a smile, she imitated the bow that was given to her.

Spiked tail swayed to and fro as she watched the other pup. You missed a spot. She thought to herself, allowing a gentle laugh to escape her lips, knowing it would be rude to say that; even, of coarse, she meant it jokingly. She was already on the other pup's bad side and she didn't want to be in any more trouble then what she was in now. After a moment of silence, the pup parted her lips to speak once more. "That's a lot of dirt you got there. Why play in the dirt when you have such white fur. Don't you want it to be clean and pretty?" She asked with a cocked head.

Ange stopped and smiled at her. "Well it was what I was taught so it is what I do." Looked at her white fur for a moment. "Well I don't really care if it is clean or not. I have more fun playing and running around. But because my father thinks I'm sleeping right now, if I turned up with dirty fur, he will know I went out to play." She flicked her tail then curled it to start cleaning it.
