hey guys, yes im still alive...and im officially proud to say, that I work for the Walt Disney Company

((albeit for the disney store...retail, yes)) and im pretty excited biggrin

im gonna re post what i wrote in my myspace blog, so i wont have to repeat myself much but yeah...yay ^_^

step one: check

so i go for in interview with the Disney store in Newpark mall today, and it went off without a hitch i got the job!
part time, 8.50 an hour (( =___= ;; )) Free Disney park tickets and 20 % discounts at the store and any store at disneyland / world.



Long story short: i have found where I'm meant to be, and I'm staying. its amazing what working for one of the small retail chains can do for me.



so, I'm going back to school. if i play my cards right, ill start at Chabot in the fall semester, going for an AA in business administration.

((or whatever is related to what im going for))

I'm really willing to bust my a** now, and make something of this, and most importantly, of myself. i couldn't even dream that getting a job at a regular ol' retail store would inspire me like this. but im going to definitely shoot for getting myself up high in the ladder of the company, and make my dream come true.



the only thing is though, its just going to get harder before it gets easier...and that all starts now .____.

but yeah, to answer some questions, Cabot is my local community college, and im gonna try to get a certification in business, so i wont have to go to school for another two years ((******** you ******** YOU scream )) as opposed to like...a year, you know?
and yes, my rage was from my hatred towards Heald...18 months, and 20,000 dollars later, i got pretty much nothing from them. oh well =.=;

so yeah, my goals, if they are practical of course, includes getting myself up in the store, becoming manager, then potentially store manager. Then from that, i can make something from the Disney Consumer products branch of the company, and possibly wear a suit biggrin biggrin biggrin

ugh so much has happened in the past 6 hours >o<;; i really hope this all works out...

so i just got back from my first day on the job with the disney store

its a retail store...i sell things (( granted i need to learn all the returns, exchanges, all that mumbo jumbo)) and i clean the store and talk to people about one of the things i truly love: Disney! biggrin

so yeah, today mostly consisted of legal crap, signing papers, watching videos and stuff...then i was given the tour of the store, and told how to fold clothes correctly and how to straighten things out
