I'm 30, and developed my interest in yaoi about five years ago, mostly as a curiosity. I had generally been disinterested in erotic topics, but grew to enjoy yaoi (i think it was the pretty boys, at first). I'm not entirely sure how it developed into an established (if underindulged) liking.

i'm 14 now... and i started liking yaoi... when i was around 9-10... it happened when my aunt took a picture of this shop.... with full of yaoi doujinshis in ikebukuro... cool and there was this large banner in shibuya.... a pic of sekai no ichii hatsukoi... emotion_kirakira and that is the moment... when i turned into a fujoshi

I'm 15, and I got interested in Yaoi last year when a few friends told me to watch Junjou Romantica. Since then, I've delved into the world of boy's love. ^^

i'm 25, i guess i started liking Yaoi around 12 ^_^ around 15 is when i started reading yaoi manga' my first was Gravitation, then Loveless. ahhh good times smile so much sexiness

I'm 17 almost 18 and I started liking yaoi about 3 years ago.
I was already an otaku at the time and one day I found an anime called Gakuen Heaven. At the time I had no idea that bl and yaoi even existed (I'm ashamed of how ignorant I was... sweatdrop ). Anyway, I've always liked school related anime with male leads and that's exactly what that anime's about so I decided to watch it and ... well ........ I guess I can say that that's how it all started ... xp and now I'm an absolute fujoshi! whee

I'm 18 and... I started liking yaoi back when I was 12 probably. I started watching Naruto after trying it out for the enth time and was finally able to watch through the first few episodes without giving up on watching it because it was pretty... annoying... at the start... But anyway, I got to the point where Sasuke deflected and I really love Naruto so it was painful for me to see him so sad.
I got to fanfiction.net with the idea that the place could give me a story where Sasuke and Naruto were still friends and BAM, two boys kissing in my face. I was sincerely shocked. I stopped reading the fic midway and I searched up yaoi. I'm an extreme person and I find that knowing something comes from finding the most pure example.
Basically, I watched Sensitive Pornograph as my FIRST EVER YAOI. And I watched it until the end. After silently screaming for around five minutes... my yaoi addiction was born. neutral
Suffice to say... normal yaoi is really boring to me. I need... hard hard hard extremecore yaoi.... I've pretty much evolved to... far levels I should not have reached at my age. But oh well, I'm too far gone already. Doesn't matter. dramallama
