Personally I like the 2v2 the best, because it's more personal, easier to interact with your team and less targets. It's more intense than a 5v5 honestly because it's all focus fire and as a Mage in a 5v5 which is my 2nd favorite, I AOE. 3v3 i used to like but not really because I'd always get stuck with 3 healers.

Best 2v2 = Paladin / Warrior
Best 3v3 = Rogue / Mage / Priest
Best 5v5 = Hunter / Warlock / Rogue / Mage / Shaman

I'm actually experimenting with a 5v5 right now I have that same setup right now but with a Paladin instead. The paladin was not a healer, he was ret, human, and it was a fresh team that I just bought, at a 1500 rating, we went 8-2. It was actually a really good setup, the other teams had a hard time choosing who to burst dps and they wasted it all on me the first 5 rounds, which was a bad decision... trying to kill ME? We were all S2/3 and destroying S3/4's and some even all Brutals. Full dps. On a 2v2 I also like to go without a healer, my first was a Mage / Paladin, and then to a Mage / Warlock. That went okay, Mage / Priest didn't go too well, not enough dps. I like to bring another CC along in case we face a Mana Burning wimp, burst dps on the other guy while CC'ing Priest, and Warlocks have good CC against casters.

For 3v3's I've tried the RPM (Rogue / Priest / Mage) and it's not too bad but I always end up picking up a Rogue in greens or PvE epics. I see the priest getthing stunlocked a lot and all undead are immune to Fear so I always end up taking on the rogue and making my party force dps on their stunning cc, but if there's EVER a Paladin out of all them, we take that one down first for an early bubble pop.

For my 2v2 I hit 2k+ with rogue/rogue. Its fun, its fast, and its not a matter of waiting till someone runs out of mana. Healer teams can go to hell.
I don't see why people are so fond of Rogue/mage. We fought a few teams like that and didn't have a problem.

However my rogue got her Gladiator title in 3s
For 3v3 I like Rogue, Warrior and Shaman. Why? Windfury 3nodding Windfury is so much fun. I would also consider lvling a hunter to go Survival hunter,war and shaman since hunters get free S4 weps.
I also speced mutilate and grouped with 2 shadow priests for 3v3 and messed around the 1900 bracket.
I personally have no respect for PRM teams, I think its boring.

My locks got her PR with a holy pally in 2s. I had fun with that.


But their is one 3v3 combo that really grinds my nerves. War, Holy pally and Resto Shaman or druid..... scream and the worse part is, it works.

2v2- Druid/warrior
Rogue/Rogue (If they are good. We had a rogue/rogue team at the top of reckoning for months)

3v3- Mage/Priest/Rogue
Druid/Warrior/Rogue

5v5- Triple Melee/Shaman/Priest

rogue and mage, giggity giggity. healer=sheep. dps=dead. thats how we roll.

I won't touch 5v5 with a ten foot pole. I'll play 3v3 as long as I'm in a group with two people who understand what their job is, and as long as both of the people can handle who it is they're assigned to.

So with that said I preferably stick to 2v2. Currently I have two parteners for it, and it can be total hell for me.

From personal experience, and for the class I play, I'd have to say the toughest combos for me to beat are Rogue/Priest, Rogue/Rogue, Mage/Rogue and of course Warrior/Priest.

This is assuming that they know what they're doing, there have been occasions where a partner and myself will steam roll over a pair listed above, but that's simply because they messed something up or just didn't know their class.

D': It's also just a very difficult experience in 2v2 when you're in enhance shaman, I have to rely on my partner to have total cc, and I have to have enough burst damage straight away to be able to totally annihilate my target in less than a minute.

2v2
Disc priest/feral druid- If you want to annoy everyone to death.
Resto druid/Feral druid- Long games but can be done. A couple of druids in my old guild got to 1900 with this comp
Rogue/Feral druid- Most popular feral druid comp in 2s
