For all those who care- Naruto has been liscned . . . BY VIZ!! And it WILL Be airing on CN this fall. If I hear anyone else say Toonami liscened Viz, because it's impossible for a TV program to liscened anything. So whee? I'm not a fan of Naruto so I personally could care less . . . though I'm sure other people dare to argue different.

Seldaara I had heard about Naruto being licensed. . . which I found odd since months before I had already seen the DVDs in stores. sweatdrop they weren't offical DVDs. It either had to be Hong Kong/Chinese bootlegs or something similar along those lines. Naruto being liscens means it coming to DVD and tv legally for the first time. It hasn't been released through proper means before.

Yeah I know. ^^; It's just that these didn't look like all the other bootleg DVDs out there, and this particular store doesn't typically carry bootlegs. Which is why it was confusing. Well, maybe they made a mistake or something. ^^;

Adult Swim to Become a Network As of March 28th, Turner Broadcasting will formally split The Cartoon Network's Adult Swim program into a separate cable television network for ratings reporting purposes. As a separate entity, Adult Swim will be a formidable network, with #1 ratings in its time period on basic cable among adults age 18-34, and an average of 11 of the top 50 ad-supported cable programs among adults age 18-34. However, apparently Adult Swim's content and broadcast schedule will not change from its present condition.

Ha! everyone had butterfly wings . . .
I'm just doing some thread reviving because i can't believe the Anime talk is one of the last threads!
Adult Swim to become a network? That'd be cool if it was on basic cable, but it will probably be on digital lets-charge-you-$40-more-a-month cable and 12am on CN will be Ed Edd and Eddy. sweatdrop

I mean is CN still going to keep their Adult Swim program? Because it's their most popular program they have right now and that wouldn't make sense to get rid of it. But I wonder what will they show on the adult swim tv show for a full 24 hours? Who knows and I hope i get it on my cable.
