So I was at work the other day and the little kids were being read to on the rug, and I had nothing to do. So I drew a picture in crayons. When I got home I copied it, and really liked it. But before I color, I wanted to know if there was anything I should fix, and any color ideas would be nice as well. Please bash as much as you can! 3nodding It's mostly the hair I'm having issues with, I've never tried that style before.

Okay, I got bored and colored before editing. But I'm still going to edit again before coloring with Photoshop. Here's what I've got so far; any advice on how it could be better is welcome and encouraged. wink

The hair looks fine IMO... My issues with this one is the ear looks like it's at a direct side view (At least to me) and the shoulders make her look like she is shruging (again, at least to me.)

If you are wanting the shoulders to look like she is just standing there, the lines leaving her neck should slope downward only, except to give muscle tone. As far as colors go, a kind of pale green and yellow would probably work... but I'm probably not the best for colors razz . (I'd color the +'s under the eyes a solid regular green.)

I know you probably wanted to color it and all, but the lineart was pretty good razz so I felt like coloring it... I only origonally inteded to give the basic colors I would have used, but I just enjoyed it too much and colored it all the way.

And, as far as it looking wierd, the shruggin, no. The ear on the otherhand still bugs me a bit... But it's not bad at all as far as the image goes. XD Hair would be a pain to shade correctly though.

Oh wow, that's really cute! xd I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the ear, though (should it be smaller?) or by shading the hair correctly...

I think that her neck my curve out a little too soon and a little too dramatically. Maybe raise that a little and lessen the curve? I dunno. Just suggestions. mrgreen It looks really good though. And I can't wait 'til you color it. rofl The ear doesn't actually bother me so much. ♠

I didn't mean to steal your thunder by coloring it either.... gonk I'm sorry. And as Tarff stated, the ear thing isn't all that bad... It's probably more of just my personal opinion then anything.
