"Calm down, Hemera." He nudged her gently, padding beside her. He understood her worries though, and Kinnara too, had qualms about Noctis's late night escapade.
I know you're careful. But what if you get a cramp? It's safer to have us around. He reminded Noctis, his wings fluttering in anxiety as he looked through Hemera's eyes and saw her in the lake. He wanted to go after her, but he knew, it wasn't such a good idea, and so he waited, sitting on the shore. Pacing up and down would only make him feel worse.

Having them on the shore made things more difficult. Not easier. Shaking her head, Noctis continued out a bit further until she was above the strange object. ~Just stay there.~ Gathering a large breath, she dove below the surface.

Hemera growled at her sisters stubbornness. ~ what. an. idiot. ~ was all she could manage out. Knowing full well her sister heard her words. sitting on the beach she continued to eye the water. Waiting for any sign of problems.

Having Kinnara go swim after Hemera would be a much worse problem. He would probably need saving instead, and make a fool out of himself. What are you looking for? He questioned, holding his breath as he watched her dive underwater.
She'll be fine. She'll be fine. Maybe if he repeated it enough, he would come to believe it, but as of now, Kinnara's brotherly instincts had their doubts.

It took several attempts, but finally Noctis returned to the surface triumphant. A beautiful milky-white stone rested in her paw, and she splashed her way happily to the shore. ~I got it!~ She flopped on the bank, not caring if her clothes got muddy, and held the shimmering stone out so her siblings could see it. ~ i told you it was some sparkly thing ~ she sighed inwardly. ~ She can smell those things even if theyre covered in mud ~ she teased trying to lighten the mood. Truth was she was worried sick about her sister.

Kinnara had started to shake with anxiety. What if something underwater caught his sister? What if she got a cramp? No. He told himself. No. Three of us are supposed to be together. Fate wouldn't take her away like this.
He immediately leaped up as she surfaced and gave her a nuzzle, not bothering if he got dirty as well. She was okay. She was fine. He breathed a sigh of relief. It's pretty. He said, grinning. Just don't worry us like that again, silly.

~Covered in mud, and buried 10 feet below the surface~ She teased back. ~How could I not claim such an interesting thing?~ Shaking off the water from her fur, she gathered up the rest of her things that she had wrapped in cloth. ~Come on, let's go back to our sleeping spot.~
