It was a beautiful day...At least outside. Inside the Pound, however, there was a bit of turmoil. A certain pair of foxes were arguing. It had become an almost daily ritual for them, once so close, now one had moved on with his life and the other clung kicking. Adrien did her best to make Aiden feel guilty and more often than not, it worked.
"Adrien!" Aiden shouted, his temper starting to rise, "My life can't revolve around you! I have a family now, I need to spend time with them!"
"In case you've forgotten, Aiden, I used to be part of your family too!" Adrien said, her voice full of distress.
Aiden closed his mouth and stared at her. Seeing his sister like this was enough to break his heart. He didn't like to see her cry..And that thought that he was the reason she was crying.. Closing his eyes, he moved to pull her into a hug. "Adrien, honey.. You are my family.. You know that. You're my baby sister, I love you. I just can't spend all of my time with you.."

Hiromi walked into the living room of the pound and barley heard two waywards fighting, automatically recognizing the two voices. Deep down she knew she was part of the reason why the brother and sister pair were fighting, and her heart sank. All Hiromi ever wanted was for Adrien and herself to get along and for everything to be okay, constantly feeling guilty that she takes his attention away from his sister. "I've never heard them fight like this before, I don't like it."
Marsden's ears perked up at the sound of them fighting, "It's like World War III in here, the way these two are fighting." He said as he plopped down next to his sister. "You think Adrien knows how much I like her?"
"Oh Marsden, I don't know I really don't.." She replied with a sigh as she looked over at her brother and messed up his hair.

"I know, but you barely spend any time with me!" Adrien cried, pulling out of Aiden's arms and racing out of the room.
Aiden sighed as he watched her go. He loved his sister, she was one of the most important people in his world, after all. She just.. couldn't seem to take it that she was no longer number one. His ears flicked back and he shoved his hands in his pockets, making his way out into the living room to spot Hiromi and Marsden. "Hey," he said softly, moving over towards his mate. "How are you guys today?"

Her brother stood up and swished his tail and smiled, "Thats my que." Marsden said as he went to go find Adrien and to fix his hair. 'Sometimes I hate my sister, she always has to mess up my hair' He thought as he went to go find his crush.
Hiromi looked at him and smiled, "I'm okay but how are you?" She raised her hand and pressed it lightly up against his cheek. "I heard the fight between you and your sister, is everything okay?" Hiromi asked softly as she looked into her mates eyes, sure she couldn't tell if he was lying but it always worked on her daughter or brother so maybe it would work on Aiden.

Aiden looked down at her, circling his arms around her waist. "They're... as good as can be," he murmured. "Things really aren't improving with her." He looked sad, but he shrugged it off, dipping his head to kiss her. "But it's okay, really."
Adrien was sobbing on another couch, curled up with her tail in her lap. She didn't notice Marsden following her.

She kissed him and sighed, "I'm sorry if I have anything to do with your and Adrien's downfall, I know how close you two were." Hiromi said as she leaned on him some, her guilt rising even more after she noticed the sad expression on her mates face. The one expression she never wanted to see on him or her children, now that the sadness was shown her heart simply broke. "If you say it's okay, I believe you." That was really all Hiromi could say at the time to convince herself that everything would be alright.
"Adrien? Are you okay? Why are you crying?" Marsden asked as he sat down next to her, pulling her close to him in a tight embrace. "Please stop crying, I'm here now! I'll make you feel better!" He had no idea what he was saying and he didn't care how much word vomit came out, he just had to make Adrien feel better by any means necessary. Marsden softy rubbed her back, trying to calm her down.
