personally i steer clear of true abstract (as opposed to doodly abstract, or surrealist abstract) really because it doesn't suit me, and i'm typically a narrative artist.

I'm with the other people who said they didn't do abstract art because they're not creative enough/it isn't their style/whatever. I just don't have it in me.
I LIKE abstract art in general, but I don't actively look for it when I'm looking at artwork.
