But the great thing about getting older is that you don't really have to grow up. Sure maturity comes in handy a lot of times but if it's the no. 1 thing I think all adults need then it's the imaginations that they had when they were kids. I also tend to think that the majority of us never know what really makes us comfortable and happy and enjoy life. Like I mentioned before, when I was chosen to be the succeeding CO of my unit I felt like I was 50 years old. I tried to make myself the best damn CO I could be but in the end I lost the unit anyway. I could've had all the fun in my senior year if only I had just stopped trying to be older than I really was.
Don't feel sad. Missing the old stuff shows us how much fun we had. I miss laughing my a** off with all my friends at lunch, now that we're adults we can't do that, but I feel damn lucky that I got into some of the funniest moments those days.

Like the Rugrats. Not the new one when they go to school, the old-school one when they were still Rugrats. 3nodding Boy I used to enjoy watching that one when I was a kid. Oh, and Ren & Stimpy. Well, the clean shows at least. I used to stay up later than eleven just watching the crazy antics and not even understanding most of it. Like that superhero with the sugary toast for a head, or that multi-purpose gel that could be used as substitute toilet paper. Man, those were the days.
