The city brought up so many memories. None of them very pleasant at the moment. Jyses scrapped a geta sandal against the ground, giving the foot wear a rather seething hot look. As if he could glare it into flames or some sort of demised. A hissing lost of breath escaped him. The shoe, no matter how uncomfortable they were was not the problem. The city was his problem.
His shoulder twitched slightly under his mentor’s glaze. He locked himself down once again, pulling the mask in front of his face to hide his emotions, expression. Men flick an eyelid; a snort escaped half parted lips. Jyses shrugged. He was not going into his private thoughts with the elder. A quick hand motion and he slipped from the elder side and into a crowd.
Yeah, lost in a crowd. Nothing to worry about for a few moments, just the heavy thrum of conversation he wasn’t listening to. Press and jostle of the crowd. Familiar to a merchant born male, not friendly, or safe, but at least known.

Dhann'Dra was out and about. Again, she reminded herself bitterly. She was so tired of her foolish sister and Matron and their equally as unforgivable errands. She was a priestess, she was supposed to be training in her duties to Lloth like her 'sisters'. The only family she'd known that had given her the proper respect she deserved. The sniffling matron and first daughter were just jealous...
The diminuative female knew that those she passed could see the frustration on her face, collecting itself into something akin to a child's pout. Of course they were probably thinking the words 'cute' and 'adorable'. Though they were words not typically part of the Drow vocabulary it seemed to be used on this particular drowess quite often. Stomping a foot, she took the moment to throw a mini tantrum in the street as she moved. In her tirade, she did not see the oddly dressed male in her path and slammed right into him; stepping on his foot as she did so.

Reflectes manage to save his toes from being stomped, though the little females foot managed to snag his geta's edge. Hands on her shoulder, he shifted till he refound his balance and reclaimed the hated shoe. "Excuse me, I did not notice.." well he had noticed! He hadn't expected her to suddenly though a tantrum. It was childish.
He tilted his head, brow raised. "The streets..are not right for such a show of anger little one. People will stare at your performance," really, it was down right amusing when people though temper tantrums in public streets. "It is some what disgraceful for your houses name."

If it had been possible at all with her skin color, anyone within a ten mile radius would have been able to see the blood boiling to her face. As it was, they probably could anyway with their infrared vision. Balling her fists at her side, Dhann'dra did manage to force a smile onto her face and not draw one of the many weapons hidden beneath the bodice of her dress. Firstly because it would be odd for a priestess in training to have so many concealed weapons, but also because her House was not in enough favor to warrent her being allowed to kill some random male on the streets without fear of punishment.
Well, she told herself, at least he hadn't called her 'cute'. 'Little one' was still just as offensive to her ears, but it was possible that the male before her was simply stating a truth. With a glare up into his face, smile still on her lips, she huffed at him as she crossed her arms across her chest. "Let them stare!" She said it just loud enough for any passing to take notice and it broadened her smile. "If it's entertaining to them maybe they'll pay for the show."
