"Squ?" Calum tested the name out and stared at the squirrel. Yeah, he liked the sound of it. "That sounds like a nice name."
He stroked the top of the squirrel's head again and asked her, "Do you like that name?"

The squirrel cocked her head, before running in a small circle and nuzzling Calum's hand.
"I guess she does..." Syd muttered, yawning a little. Squ jumped from Calum's hand and onto Syd's face again, climbing onto his shoulder and curling up. "Ah..." He rubbed his face, "Do you wanna keep her first, or should I?"

"You should keep her first, she looks so comfortable now that it'd be a shame to move her." Calum shoved his hands back into his pockets. "Getting tired?"

Syd grinned, "Alright." He patted Squ before looking at Calum and shrugging, "Yeah, I guess so. I should probaly go, actually..." He said, smiling, "I've already been gone for a couple days, my friends will be pissed."

"They must be worried about you." For the first time sine he found Syd, Calum lets his gaze wander up to the sky. His eyes darkened to a near black under the moon's light. "I should go as well, I have something I must do before returning to where I left a friend."

Syd pulled Squ off of his shoulder, holding her in his hands. "Well then...goodbye." He smiled, waving to Calum before he turned and walked away. He hoped he would see the other soon.
