Shiori settled Ajiiel with the 'child leash' she had purchased at a nearby shop. It wasn't that she was afraid the girl would run away, but more that she wanted to be sure she had a method of controlling the child so that nobody would get injured.

She'd sent out invitations to all the ICRS criminals' and their guardians. The Aekea Players were coming to the Temple to do their (rather humorous, or so she'd been told) version of "Beauty and the Beast" and she had thought a few of them might enjoy it.

Kisala hadn't wanted to sit still for it, and had plans with a friend anyhow, and so she was nowhere to be found, but Shiori wasn't about to let Ajiiel out of her sight.

Hopefully, at least a few others would show up before the Players began. She'd put 6:00 on the invitations, but the Players weren't going to be starting until 6:30, so that should give whomever came time to get there. And dinner would be provided, of course. She'd made sure to set up a variety of foods just in case.

Now, all that was left was to wait.

Beauty and the Beast! Archie had never actually sat through the entirety of the Disney version, but Francine had nearly worn out the DVD during the year she had been with the Saturns. Archie had warned her this version wouldn't likely be the same, but Franny didn't seem to care.

Also along for the show was Archie's newest charge, Panda, a very odd baby who had once been god of the angelic. Probably still was. Archie wasn't sure how it worked, really. The baby was silent as the grave, large eyes making his creepy, silent stare even creepier.

"Hello Shiori," Archie said upon entering. He was uncharacteristically quiet, in an attempt to remain incognito. He knew he hadn't exactly been the most helpful of people the first time he had met Ajiiel's guardian and despite the fact that he wanted nothing to do with actually placing former criminals anymore, he still felt sort of guilty about that fact. Plus, they were standing in a temple. Surely as good a reason as any to keep quiet.

Francine, however, had no such history with Ajiiel and her guardian. She flounced into the room, saw a child on what appeared to be a leash and made a beeline for the smaller girl. A toddler on a leash! How exciting!

Shiori quickly scooped up Ajiiel before the other could get too close and risk injury,
"Oh, dear!" she said, ignoring the nice bite marks the toddler angrily left in the woman's arm,
"Ajiiel's not very friendly, I'm afraid. You may not want to get too close."

She smiled and nodded in greeting to the child's adoptive father,
"Hello again, Archie. How are you?"

"There was a great big moose! He liked to drink a lotta juice!"

Elly hops with her thumbs at her temples and her fingers stretched as wide as she can make them. She grins up at her mum and continues to sing the song she'd learned about this funny juice moose, to her mother's annoyance. "Sing'a wayyyy-o, wayyy-o! Wayyy-o, waa-"

"Elly, please," the currently maroon-haired woman growls, taking one of Elly's hands and urging her along. "This is a place where you have to be quiet. Can you do that for Mummy?"

The little girl merely smiles absently as she's tugged through the entrance of the temple, already forgetting her song in favour of making admiring noises at her surroundings. "OooOOOooh!"

Shiori smiled as Elegy came in, keeping Ajiiel clutched tightly in her own arms,
"Oh, there is no need for quiet this day," she assured the little girl's guardian,
"And truly, visitors to the Temple need not maintain quiet anyway. The child's singing may very well inspire some of the monks."
