((Before I begin... *Shot for bad title pun* XD; ))

Comet landed on head. Rubbing it gingerly, he winced. He had become lazy. What kind of lady would fall for him if he couldn't even climb up ivy to her blacony on a starry night? He should have been training more.

Comet Bond's room was romantic looking. It was constructed to make him look thoughtful and artsy. But the Bond family basement was a different story, a strange construct to support Comet's rigid training regiment for all the necessary things one needed to be good at the be a professional flirt.

Right now it was covered in dust. He hadn't trained in a while. "Right," He got up, looking determined. This was something he would improve at.

(( xDDD *dies* So awesome. ))

Gwin Bond wanted nothing more than to be like his father, a notorious ladies' man, cool and suave and irresistible. Unfortunately for Gwin, he often fell short, way short, of that goal. It was his mother's fault, he declared. She had cursed him with those pink spots--and yes, the fact that his mother didn't have a square inch of pink on her was irrevelant to him--and now he had to suffer for it. Bundled up, he made his way down to the basement looking for his father so he could watch the master at work.

Currently on the treadmill (So as to be quick enough to catch a last glimpse of a girl at the airport for a tearful and romantic goodbye), Comet had not yet noticed his son. Comet viewed the basement as a place where he could forget about things like children, especially Deidre, whose incessant nagging was the bane of his existence. Not to say he wasn't fond of them in his own way, even proud of them. But he didn't expect them in a place like his basement sanctuary.

Cut back to Gwin.

Noticing him at last, his father did two things. One, a double take, and two, ceased running. Together they had tragic consequences. "Gwi-ARGHHHHH!" he cried as he tripped over himself and landed, once again, on the basement floor. "What..." he said, shaking as he stood up, and readjusting his smile to maximum charm in case there was a young lady hiding behind his pink-spotted son, "Are you doing here?"

Gwin's eyes widened as his father shot off the treadmill and landed in a heap on the floor. "Oh! Dad! Are you okay?" he asked as he rushed over to help him up. At Comet's questioning, Gwin's ears turned as pink as the spots on them. "I uh.. I wanted to see you at work! I want to be like you!" He looked at the floor, burrowing into his sweater. "I wasn't going to interrupt, I just wanted to watch..."

Comet groaned. "Uhh... Yeah, I think so." Getting up gingerly, he stretched, wiggling his fingers and toes to make sure it was all in proper working order. Satisfied, he looked at his pink son. "Oh really." he said. He flicked his tail, interested. He had to admit, none of his other children particularly wanted to be like him, especially not Deidre. Curious, he humored his son. "So you want to be like your father, huh? Well, let's see what you can do." He sat down. "Come on, show me your best flirting techniques."
