"I'm not so sure about that..I guess if the both of you are trying to get to a certain place, but I guess it doesn't matter if you aren't alone...huh" The question was rattling Sly's brain, but he let it go.
"We should get going on our way to no where before we lose day light." Sly turned to Sherbert before staring down the beach. "So, why don't you tell me something about yourself? I've already given you my sob story, and I might as well know something about someone who is helping me out."

Sherbert began to walk faster as Sly said. It was true being 'lost' in the dark wasn't really that fun. Other creatures and things out there that she didn't want to meet. Just becasue she was all about love didn't mean they were.
She pondered the question. "Well, let's see. I love love and try to get everyone I know in love. I have been the Lover's Valley and made my 'son' go there too. I met one boy, but haven't really seen him since. I guess that's about all really." It wasn't that interesting or exciting, but that was her.

Sly laughed at Sherbert's explanation of herself as there was a lot of love in it.
"Well you sound very...lovely. So yo bascially like playing match maker and your life revolves around love? Also, who is this son of yours? Maybe I or one of my kids has met him before."
Sly didn't really expect to jump up, even a little, so fast, but who knew this get up could be temporary. He would still told it as long as he could.

"Yeah, I guess I am kind of a matchmaker." Sherbert giggled at that. Though, deep down it was beacause she couldn't find anyone for herself. "His name is MacCloud. I rasied him from a stone. I haven't seen him in a while, but I know he's on some sort of adventure. He does that a lot. Who are your kids?"

"My kids." Sly thought about his kids and what they may be up to at this point. He guess Iris was off some where with that one guy she had a huge crush on. " I have four kids. Two boys and two girls. Iris lives with me. Sy lives with another human who is close to my own. Aikou lives with her mother. That last boy, I don't know his name. He was given to another human and I have not seen him since..."

"That all sounds nice and one sad. I hope you get to meet you long lost son again. That has to be on your mind alot." Sherbert said with a small sad smile. She had only one adopted son, non by blood, so she didn't know that kind of pain. That or losing one's love like he had.

Sly sighed as his eyes scanned the horizon ahead. He shook his head as he tried to hold a smile on his face.
"It's alright. It has been so long and I think my heart and mind have just accepted the fact he is gone and the possibility that I may never see him. I've just moved on from it all."

Sherbert nodded. She guessed that was the only thing one could do. You had to move on from pain or else you would miss out on the good things like love and happiness. "Maybe he'll just come back one day." She shrugged. "Anything is possible."

Sly's ears flicked as he thought it over. "I guess so, but it is unlikey after all this time. He probably doesn't even know who I am. Probably think I abandoned him or something. I don't want him to think I did something like that.."

"I hope he doesn't. Maybe he knows why you had to give him up. If you worry about it, it will just make you sadder." Sherbert nodded. "But it's what parents do, don't they? Worry no matter what." With that she smiled brightly. Sure she didn't really have blood related children, but she did worry about MacCloud now and then.
