Asgrim - Stormy Hound
Asgard – Allyson Awesome
Asgrim is missing his left eye and right ear. He comes off as stuck up, due to never talking much. Only his brother Asgard knows the true reason behind his silence. Asgrim does not speak the language of valley wolves very well. In addition to his missing eye and ear, Asgrim has three deep scars running over his right hip from a bear attack when the pair were pups and believed they could take on the world.
Asgard is missing his right eye and left ear. He is more apt to learn, and has figured out the valley language, though he still keeps the mountain language close to speak with his brother. Asgard is missing his left back leg. When asked about this injury, he often only answers with “You should see the other guy.” or not at all. He lost his leg saving his brother in a battle for their home pack.
Both wolves speak with a thick mountain accent. They are larger than the typical valley wolves, and are heavily furred to withstand the constant snowstorm of their mountain home. The wolves of Vanaheimr are strictly natural, and most of them have never known anything different. They mostly consist of greys and blacks, though rarely a soft brown color will come out, and even rarer, a pure white. The darker wolves, and the rare white wolves, blend into the snow perfectly, resembling the snow itself, or the craggy blueish black rocks which sprinkle the mountain sides.
The two are twins, and grew up as cousins to the believed deceased wolf Freyr, and his twin sister Freya. They are, together, grandchildren of the alpha pair. The pack has lived in the abandoned ruins of a human castle for many generations, and are perpetually guarding this territory from the attacks of lesser mountain packs. Twins run in their family, and the ability to birth twins is a good sign and regarded highly with the pack elders. If one twin of a pair dies, the other willingly bears a mark of death themselves. They live on the outskirts of the pack, and are disallowed from taking a mate or birthing a litter of their own.
After Freyr was killed, Freya took upon herself the mark of death, exiling herself to the outer areas of the pack's territory, to live with the other "Lost". It then fell to Asgard and Asgrim to leave the mountain to find mates. They are to return to the mountain within two years with their chosen females to be joined. OOC Note: They will find Freyr alive but not well in the valley. It remains to be seen what will come of Freya if Freyr decides to return home.
The twins are a blue-grey, nearly black, with a harsh grey spattering across their eyes – a mark passed down to them from their father, from his father, and further back. Their bodies show age, spattered with soft greys which lingers along their muzzles, cheek ruffs and toes. Both wolves, despite being built larger, are lean and their ribs show slightly along their sides. Despite their injuries, the pair fights fairly well together, and are still highly regarded in their home as great warriors.
