I know that miyavi is a japanese rock superstar, and that many countries want him to appear and tour his music. i'm just depressed because he's only been preforming in california and i think vegas at one point. i live all the way in massachusetts, and i have no way of getting to the states he tours, let alone out of the country to see him. i really wish he could do a USA tour and come to the east coast. they're are definately fans here. that or, i better start saving my pennies.... crying

but i think i should just be happy he comes to states in the first place.

anyone else feel the same way?

yeah, i was sooo excited when I heard he was having a US Tour...then I saw the dates on his site and was like WTF it's a California tor not US...oh well, one day he'll see that the East Coast loves him just as much if not more than the West Coast...

the thing about that is that it's not Miyavi's fault, it's actually yours, when you want an artist where you guys are at it's a bit hard, because the east coast either has New York as a main venue or Florida
there exists no place for a main venue in the midwest and because of the lack in demand I don't think most artists know that they have a fan base there:/

that's just the way it is.
it's not a matter of love :/
it's business.
California has been successful, so artists will continue to show up there knowing there is an already large fan base.

Eventho I live in CA- (well SF actually and we got 2 shows. ..) I felt really bad for my friends who are really dedicated fans but didn't get to see him!
I think it was a scheduling conflict or something to do with his management cuz he wrote in his blog that he really wanted to go to NYC too but couldn't for some reason.
Also other places got a myv performance because they showed there were a lot of fans there with a petition~ Next time he does a tour maybe round up the local ko-miyavi and show him you guys wanna see him live!

whoa whoa!! nobody is BLAMING miyavi about the tour locations. i'm just depressed that i can't go if it's in california. unfoturnate for most east coast fans, money doesn't grow on trees, therefore it's very hard.
i do understand what you mean about california having bigger fanbases and all, but all i'm saying ix that he has fans all over the US.
but i'm not trying to get offensive or anything, i'm just sharing my emotions about it. and miyavi preformed i think two places in california, so of course i'm going to be depressed.
but if he does come to like NYC i could probaby blackmail someone to drive me there

ps.(warning it's random) typing with the WII remote is HARD!!!!

The way I figure it is if I can save up and ask my dad money for a trip to California to see Miyavi, then someone can just as easily do it for a plane ticket. Hello, people, this all coincides with the saying "If there's a will there's a way." So basically if you really want to do something you will find the money, time, people, and/or whatever you need to do it. The trip from New Mexico to California was expensive, it didn't help that I had to pay for some people other then myself, but I still went and killed my bank account, but it is something that I would do again.

Miyavi performed in 3 places in CA.

The one thing I really don't know about you
Is why I've come to like you so much?

nya~
I love that <3

there was acutally a discussion abut this on Tainted Reality a few months before Miyavi prefromed someone on the show said that if you really want to see an artist preform you will go see them no matter what.
these artists are from Japan, what's cheaper?
a plane ticket to Calfornia or a hotel room in Japan?
Of course the ticket!
my point is that where there's a will there's a way like night said.
and it really bothers me when people say that "they never come here"
it happened when Versailles was touring that people who lived in Texas wouldn't go to El Paso or something like that to see them, and they were just too lazy to go there.
People want artisit to visit thier home towns , the point is that Aoi's right, it's a matter of bussiness and if you petition enough maybe you can get them to go to your side of the country.

I mean ******** Chile petitioned and more than 6 thousand people signed it.

that to me is devotion.

in anycase, I'm sure this wasn't the last one.
I've gone to many concerts and met people from all over the world at them.
you guys live in the same country , if I met someone from France at the Los angeles concert, I mean come on guys.
I just hear complaining.

Just one cup of coffee, that's all the love I can give you.

I live in Massachusetts, too, darling~ =D

I am sad like you, but I also feel the same as others here.

Or. I mean, it's not like I have the money to go across the country to see him perform, but there will be other tours. And I feel like New York one day can be promising. New York or Hartford. I don't know.

I'm waiting patiently. ^^
