I was just thinking - A lot of people might have background stories for their characters, and I thought it might be cool to just collect them all in one place so people could draw off them when interacting with other characters.
This could be like an unofficial thread - so you don't have to use it or even have a background in mind for your character if you don't want to. But I thought it might make things more interesting and cool. If we just collect them all up here, instead of each individual clan, we could also use them during gatherings and such where all the clans are together.
If you post here, a good format would probably be using little symbols, like...
[CO] for Clan Only, as in, only cats in your clan should be able to draw off of that bit of info.
[MCO] could mean My Cat Only, as in only your cat should know this (i.e. deep secret) but you'd like to post it anyway.
[AC] could mean Any Clan or Any Cat, so anyone should be able to have their character speak about that aspect of your cat's background.
[OO] could mean Officials Only, as in only the leader, medecine cat, and deputy know this info.
And then just mention if only one or two cats, other than those listed, should know.
I'm posting mine below, so you can see what I mean. wink

Icebreath - WindClan
[AC] Icebreath has (or had...) 2 sisters: Burrpaw and Frostpaw. They never became warriors. When they were just 7 moons old, Burrpaw's mentor was injured while on patrol by a very angry badger - So the next day, he was bedridden in the medecine cat's den. Frostpaw's mentor offered to take them both out instead of have Burrpaw stay behind, so they went on a hunting trip. While they were out, a large group of rouges from a far off set of Clans jumped them, and successfully killing Frostpaw's mentor, dragged Frostpaw and Burrpaw off a little ways. They were planning to make Frostpaw and Burrpaw join them, but they were too resistant and were instead killed.
[CO] Icebreath can't fight offensively very well, but is a very strong hunter. This is mostly due to her focusing on taking trips away from the Clan to think about her sisters - she'd hunt for the whole trip, which would last over an hour each time. She slipped into a slight depression during the fighting part of her training, thinking that maybe her sisters would have survived if they had known to fight.
[MCO] Icebreath still hangs on to the hope that her sisters may be out there somewhere - their bodies were never really found. She knows they are probably dead but still hasn't realized that they actually are. She still hopes from time to time that she'll see them while she's on a patrol or something and bring them back home.

[CO] Wildstar had a father named Blueye. Blueeye was partially crazy and tried to kill several cats (The deputy, the leader and a few kits) when he found out that his mate/Wildstar's mother was pregnet with Wildstar. He had never gone to a Gathering because the medicene cat decided he was basicly mentally retarded (No offense to anyone really) and the leader at the time decided it was best that no one in any other clan should know about it. After words he at whole bush of death berries because he felt so bad and he died.
[MCO] Wildstar secretly has always felt alone and has always wished to herself for a mate. She will never tell anyone this. EVER.
[OO] Widstar is extremly worried that someday she might snap and end up like her father. The reason h officals know this is because she trusts the deputy as a personal friend and she asks the medicene cat about any visions she's had about her or her father.

[CO]when she was still a kit she had been in the clearing playing with a moss ball when something came in to the village(she was unable to see it, it all happend vary fast) she was picked up by wisetail(now her mentor) and placed in the nursery,
[MCO]she watched from afar in amazement as the warriors made quick work of whatever it was, ever since then she has aspired to be a grate warrior like the one who saved her.{edit} she has always been a bit disobedient she would sneak out lots as a kit. she has times when she is "wise" but they dont last long XD
[wisetail]she likes to be thought of as a hero so if she thinks she can do something she is upset to be held back, she knows her limits, but likes to push them to the edge.

a youbg she-cat that had kits with a rogue but when they were born there was a storm and 2 oh her kits died Teakit and Rosekit died that night in the storm and Seigekit was taken by an eagel a few weeks ago now her last surviveing kit Maplekit is a troublemaker.

Maplekit is Spottedcloves last kit and she is a troublemaker just like her rouge father. sometimes she does not obey the warrior code, but will be loyal to her clan forever she has had a knack for hunting and fighting since she was born. Now she waits for her leader Bramblestar to let her become and apprentice she is now 6 moons old
