Lucid Dream or not? O_o;

Hello there, everyone ^_^

I'm quite confused.
I was having this dream last night and I was going about my
dream business and all when I did something or saw something
or w/e, and I said to myself "That couldn't happen unless this is a dream!"
And I was all like OMGWTFBBQCHICKEN and I said
"This IS a dream!"
And tried to do impossible-irl stuff.

BUT.
I'm not sure if that was really a lucid dream or if I
just dreamed I was having a lucid dream?
Kind of hard to explain, but I'm not sure if it
was truly a lucid dream or not.

Opinions please?

I think that probably was a lucid dream, at some level. There are multiple levels of lucid dreaming, and if you're not sure you were lucid dreaming it was probably at a lower level. I think that the epiphany of 'OMGWTFBBQ I'M DREAMING!' basically means you're lucid, and the fact that you tried impossible IRL stunts helps confirm it. Congratulations!

My friends and I break down lucid dreaming into certain levels. The top level would be complete awareness and waking up and knowing for sure, without a doubt, that you were dreaming lucidly.
However, there are other levels, and I believe you were having a lucid dream, though not at a high level. You did have some awareness, though it may not have been complete awareness. Since you knew it was a dream, and tried to do things that would be impossible in real life, it was definitely lucid. You knew for sure it was a dream, so it was lucid.
I bet if you keep trying, your dreams will start to get more and more lucid. ^-^
