I know exactly how you feel. Warning. There is a spoiler in ahead.
[I mean, he nearly died. Wait scratch that, he actuallydid die and we haven't seen him since]. Even in the manga which has realeased FAR more than the shippuden has. I wanna see Gaara-kun again. (sigh)
