Alianae smiled. There are many kinds of truth Minasia. Which would you suspect I am telling now? If I were to tell you this was indeed Glaedr, it would be both a truth, but in your mind also an untruth. Be open to new ideas. This can be Glaedr. It can not. It depends on perspective.
The King nodded. "Yes, the kitchens have been preparing for awhile, and you will be pleased to note there is no meat at all." He smiled broadly.

Minasia seemed to have shrugged, but thought better of the rather impolite response and simply nodded while whispering a faint 'aye'. Her arms were still crosed, signaling a clear refusal to obey or respect any other form of authority... if only Alianae. But, then again, did she have any choice to obey the elder woman...?
Upon entering the rather large ceremonial room, the young queen was quite happy to find a healthy feast was displayed before them. Nasuada smirked at this; she had heard rumors about the next elfen queen and her rather unusual tastes and rare, pleasant moments. Knowing that she had been able to content her was, somewhat, gratifying. Especially considering this is the least she could do...
"Please, sit down, and let us eat. Talks of politics and war should wait for our stomachs to be full, now, should they?" the Varden's leader said solemnly, as she took the seat at the opposite end of the table Orin would be at.
Minasia looked lazily at the food displayed before her; no meat. AT all. It was surprising that someone had actually respected elven requirements by the letter. After all, every time, either there was fish or SOME form of benign food. She seated herself at the middle of the long table, and observed Eragon's form sit opposite her, while giving her a quick smile. She dared not return it, if only sending a wave of thanks with her mind, although somewhat distracted.

Alianae quickly surveyed the seating as far, and smiled inwardly at the power play going on. Where she sat would determine how the others saw her. She took the place on Eragon's side, closer to the King than Nasuada. Glaedr, who had followed them into the hall spoke to them all.
I believe I shall take my leave of this castle for a while. Do I have your permission to hunt in the land around us, King Orrin?
The King, who had just begun to sit, remained standing for a moment.
"Of course. It has been a pleasure meeting you. I hope you will join us tonight?"
I would be honoured to Glaedr replied, dipping his head in some form of bow. He left the hall and took off from the wall, flying in circles around the castle, each progressively larger than the last.
King Orrin sat. "I hope this feast is enough to satisfy you, and do honour to you, our most welcome Dragon Riders." He smiled in a way that signified they could start eating.
