Kinkan-chou is a circular shape town with castle-walls surrounding it. With its calm scenery including a park, a theatre, lines of shops, it looks as if just any ordinary town... but why is it a slightly unusual? The people who live there are all nice, but these are including cats, crocodiles, all of which can speak!
In this town, there is a large performing arts school, Kinkan-gakuen, where a girl named Ahiru learns ballet. She is a little clumsy but tries as hard as anyone else, and is always scolded and made fun of but also loved by her friends, Pike and Ririe.
Ahiru has an upperclassman, a boy whom she is fond of, Myuto. He is very good at dancing, not so talkative, but handsome; he is Ahiru's Prince. However, Ahiru feels Myuto's eyes look lonely. Just once, she would love to see her Prince smile! With those wishes in mind, she continues to work hard with her ballet lessons. But Myuto has a very beautiful, smart girlfriend Ru, who is even better than her at dance. To think that someone like herself would be able to dance with Myuto is just a dream in another dream. Will Ahiru be able to become a Princess and dance with her Prince?

i don't know about this one
i watched on an anime and it striked me as a bit weird...
no offense!!
i haven't watched enough to say it sucked
but i really didnt get the plot sweatdrop

******** YEAH! I heart Princes Tutu!
I fell in love with that anime before I ever actually saw it. My lover was watching it at his anime club and told me about it and I loved it by the summary alone. Then, when I actually got to see the series I was hooked. Princess Tutu is one of those rare animes that will always be full of win no matter how old it gets.

I love princess tutu!! The plot is great, and I get excited every episode! The characters are adorable and really funny, too!

Woah, someone's heard of Princess Tutu other than me?! xd No one I know in real life knows about it. o.o I only caught random episodes, because I could never get back home in time to watch it. crying It was pretty funny though, I was a little lost as to what was going on. o.o The characters were great! And the story seemed interesting. ^_^ I remember it being sad. o.o And I remember watching the ending, which I won't comment on in case I happen to spoil it for anyone. xd

Princess Tutu was a lovelly anime, from what I saw. I love ballet, so I loved the episodes I saw XD heart
