James throws up a bubble of air as the concussion wave hits him. He rechannels the air into the bubble, making it stronger. As the flash's afterimage fades he see's that Hakiro is still standing. He whips his other sword back into his hand and flys by, barely subsonic, slashing as he passes. the swords rending the air with a piercing howl, splitting molecules apart like a plasma cutter through butter.

He whips his other sword back into his hand and flys by, barely subsonic, slashing as he passes. the swords rending the air with a piercing howl, splitting molecules apart like a plasma cutter through butter. (2) Hakiro leaps out of the rubble beneath him, and does a twist backflip in the air. He raises his arms above him, and as he lands he slams his fists down mightily onto the ground. With his forearms now firmly anchored down, he pumped white hot fire into the earth, bringing geysers of magma shooting through the air. This not only made another attack, but a defense as well, as magma built up around Hakiro and hardened to create a thick wall, shielding him. "Hellfire!" He exclaimed, as the magma went toward James.

Hakiro-kun_777 Hakiro leaps out of the rubble beneath him, and does a twist backflip in the air. He raises his arms above him, and as he lands he slams his fists down mightily onto the ground. With his forearms now firmly anchored down, he pumped white hot fire into the earth, bringing geysers of magma shooting through the air. This not only made another attack, but a defense as well, as magma built up around Hakiro and hardened to create a thick wall, shielding him. "Hellfire!" He exclaimed, as the magma went toward James. (2) James broke off his flight and dove into the earth, merging his body with the local area. He then threw up a large bubble of dirt over rock around Hakiro. Sword flickered in and out, faster than sound, filling the interior with thousands of slashes and sonic shocks. (3)

Hakiro screams as he is slashed multiple times, and bursts out of the ground. The magma around him moves up toward him, and slowly rises up his body. Hakiro is panting heavily, and is slouched over slightly. "Damn good swordplay, guy. Gotta hand it to ya." The magma now covers his entire body, and it seeps into the cuts that Hakiro just recieved. It created a covering to protect it from any further damage, and it stopped any severe blood flow. It didn't heal, though. Hakiro struggled mightily, but he started to run toward the rubble, and dived back into the hole. "If you're so fond of air, how 'bout I take it all away!!!!" Hakiro extended both his arms and legs outward, and created a gigantic burst of fire. It filled the entire area around both Hakiro and James, and it only got hotter. "Heh....If I keep the fire up like this, it'll just keep sucking up all the oxygen. You won't survive this!!!" Hakiro is in great pain by now, his body feeling as though he was ripping his body apart. The blaze was burning even brighter now, nearing the atomic level of heat. (3)

(OOC: I also wanted to mention that you DOVE into the ground while there's magma shooting up everywhere. How could you get past the Lava that was under the ground? confused )

"don't breathe, not mortal." James said as he contracted the space further, increasing the temperature and pressure, turning Hakiro's attack against him. More rock-swords flew out of the walls and rotated, stirring the mixture quickly and effectively, coming closer as the walls contracted.

More rock-swords flew out of the walls and rotated, stirring the mixture quickly and effectively, coming closer as the walls contracted. Hakiro is wearing out most of his power by now. He breathes hard, and barely whispers out "...can't...keep this up....much longer...." Hakiro then surged for one more burst of fire. "E-explosion!" he said as the temperature of the fire, as if it were a nuclear explosion, was able to destroy the swords around him. He took the entire swirling mass of destruction with him up onto the ground floor, and then blasted the giant orb into space with a sharply placed gunshot kick. The fire orb stayed in the air until it was a dot in the sky, then it hovered for a while. Back with Hakiro, he had no idea where his opponent was at the moment. Confused and desperate, he seeks the aid of his fire sprite, Zumi. He releases him from his protection, and the happy little ball of doom playfully zoomed around his head, nipping at his ear. "Zumi....this isn't...*pant* an ideal time...for *wheeze* playing around..." He gasps at Zumi. "Zumi.....I need....you to take....to the...air, and search... for my...*cough* opponent..." He takes a few minutes to catch his breath. "Ah....okay Zumi. If you see him, do NOT engage him in battle. You must use your explosion on the ground nearby him. Got it?" The sprite nodded accordingly, and zoomed away, it's tailfire like a banner across the sky. Hakiro looked around. "As for YOU, James..." Hakiro lights his palm on fire, and raises it into the air. He brings it down to the ground, quickly, and a burst of sound like a gunshot is heard. "FIRE BLAST!" He exclaimed, a great flash of light appeared, as a small but lightning fireballs were sent coursing throughout the entire field. "I'll just flush you out!!!!" Each flash of light started to grow dimmer and dimmer as time went by.(4)

James emerged from the vien of iron he had been feasting on after the blast, his entire body a bright silver color. He was in as good if not better shape than when the fight started, his body had much more metal and much less sand in it. His form was changed. His entire body was deflection angles, giving him a boxy look. His head was no longer recognizable, as it had sunken and become part of his chest. Along his left arm his swords were curved back and his hand was a hammer, directly in line with the elbow. His right hand was a deadly iron blade but small iron blade, shaped almost like a stilleto. He stabbed at Hakiro's neck, the motion inwards and up towards the brain.

He stabbed at Hakiro's neck, the motion inwards and up towards the brain. Reacting as quickly as he possibly could, Hakiro dipped down and to the left to dodge the surprise attack. He was caught on the right shoulder, but rolled away despite the cut, and recovered kneeling down, with his hand extended toward james, still aflame. "Gotcha." Hakiro fires away, again, the Fire Blast still as quick as ever, but aimed directly toward his chest. Millions of tiny fireballs were zooming at an inconceiveable speed at James. During this time, Zumi was still searching for James. It sees Hakiro firing at a boxy figure, and just assumes that is his target. *FIREBALL!!* Zumi hollers, as he takes his tiny sprite powers to the max and dashes toward the feet of James. (5)

The blood on his hand instantly is absorded. James forms vanes, the metal flowing back like wings to disipate the heat absorbed from the fireballs, which turn his body a cherry red. James then brings his hammer like hand around in a great arc, made faster by the heat softened metal. "love the fire, makes me so much faster!" James said, his voice less forced than earlier.
