Welcome to Project Itemis Adoption Agency's Guild! Within this guild you can find different Project Journals, role plays, and just chat about anything. Read all the threads on the front page first! Click the banner above to go back to the Main Thread.
Here is a list of the sub-forums for this guild and what they are there for:
Journals & Diaries: This sub-forum is for all the guardians to be able to keep track of their Project's growth in some manner. Doing so will make it easy for growth to occur. Not keeping your journal up to date will cause your Project to stay where it is at, no journal activity what-so-ever will cause the Project to cry out and need to be rehomed.
Role Play: This sub-forum is for those who own Projects to RP with one another and get to know one another ICly. These are also part of the requirements for a Project to grow and become fruitful. Using this forum is a MUST. Play dates will be initiated here and are used in the development of your Project.
Archived Threads: This sub-forum is full of finished role plays and other threads we feel the need to archive. Just mainly to keep the role play forum nice and clean, tidy too! If you see a thread in the role play forum marked as [FIN], please PM either Chunky-Soup-24 or Professor Thorn. NO ONE ELSE!
Familiars Forum: This sub-forum is used to contain the information on all of the different familiars that Professor Thorn has decided to create to help the children with learning, cleaning, playing, etc. Each familiar will have their own special abilities, and inside this sub-forum contains different shops that contain different items, potions and accessories are their main businesses.

[0] Read all rules and threads before posting anywhere.
[1] Do not post in any guardians journals without permission.
[2] You must role play with your pet to keep him/her and to allow them to grow.
[2] No god-modding. This means no controlling of another person's character at all. And no 'super-hero' actions. GM's, or staff, are only allowed to god-mod. (That's IC staff, not all staff members!)
[3] You must role play at least twice a month. Be active! It isn't that tough.
[4] When people are role playing, please use brackets...()...[]...{}...when typing OOC.
[5] You must still obey Gaia's ToS. No over the top more than PG-13 role plays here.
[6] EVERY owner of a Project MUST keep track of their progress somehow in their journals. If not, than we may not be able to grow your pet.
[7] When starting an RP in the Role Playing portion of the guild, title it as follows: [PRP] for a Private Role Play, [ORP] for an Open Role Play, [FIN] for a Finished Role Play, and also, whatever you wish to title it, mostly the titles will include the name of the characters within the RP, or just a title that suits the RP. Finished RP's will be moved to the Archived Threads sub-forum.
[8] More rules may be added or changed whenever, so check back often.

These pets are role play required and role play intensive. You must do a lot of role playing to make them grow and change. We here at the Project Itemis Adoption Agency follow the Daisy Code. Above is a link to the Daisy Code thread where you can get good information on how to role play well.
The growth form needed to grow Projects from the Baby-Adult stages can be found in this thread. Bare in mind that these requirements are just the MINIMUM of what should be done. You can go far beyond this with the time limit given. But you do have to set up your appointments with the Professor/Doctor beforehand.
NOTE: There will be random quests dropped by in your journals requesting that you do something. Whether it be that your child has developed a problem, or just needs to come back to Doctor Luster for examination. Either way, that will be part of your quest to grow your child. Otherwise, here are the necessary requirements for every child. A prompt will be given at random in the child's journal.
Letter
1 RP Story - Obtaining the letter in some manner. Minimum of 5 Paragraphs.
1 Journal Entry - Personal feelings about obtaining the Letter.
Minimum Time: 5 Days

1 Journal Entry - Obtaining the Item(s)
Minimum Time: 1 Week
Baby
5 Group/Single RP’s
2 Journal Entries - Reaction to Baby, How the Meeting went

Minimum Time: 1 Month

7 Group/Single RP’s
1 RP with Professor Thorn
3 Journal Entries - Creative Journals
Minimum Time: 1 Month and 2 Weeks

5 Journal Entries - Creative Journals
Minimum Time: 2 Months

10 Group/Single RP’s
1 RP with Professor Thorn

FIN! Your Project won’t grow any further. =] Now they may start a family of their own! <3
Minimum Time Over All for Full Growth: 7 Months, 3 Weeks, 5 Days.

Growth Form:
After your Project has reached the baby stage, you will need to start filling out the growth form. To do so, just fill out this form and send it to, Professor Thorn. Please title the PM, Growth for (enter Projects name here). If everything is done and the minimum requirements are met, he will tell the artist it is time for a growth and voila. Soon enough, your little Project will grow. =] <3

A: Well, yes, but first, you must prove yourself to us. We need to know that you won't leave us as soon as you get a second Project. So, to prevent that, we must have you wait until your first Project is at it's Pre-Teen stage, and that we know you won't up and leave us as soon as you get a second. So, if your Project is a Pre-Teen, you are eligible for a second Project to be assigned to you. =3
Q: Okay, so how about for free?
A: I'm afraid not. You see, the artists work very hard, and for no pay at all, they might not do it.
Q: Aww...fine, well, what exactly are these things?
A: These 'things' are called Projects, they're like people created by Professor Thorn and given to those who he deems fit to take care of them.
Q: Oh, alright. I don't want to have to RP with it though. =/
A: Well, I think we could work something out. But it would cost a LOT of gold to just get the artwork. Maybe twice the price of an auction. Or maybe a bribe from the artist.
Q: Oh, good. So, where would I -not- have to RP at?
A: Well, unless you can bribe the artist, you must role play, and you would do so in the guild.

A: Wow, feisty aren't we? You'll get your art when the artist finishes. We can't rush them! Perfection comes at a price! <3 And that price is patience...and gold. =]

A: Well, I'm very sorry but no, maybe if you are nice about it, PM Professor Thorn and we can set up something. If you really hate it that much. I don't know why you would. Our artists are amazing! <3
Q: Well, what if I don't have enough gold to pay?
A: This is a tough thing to have to go through. In an Auction, there are no payment plans. If it is a flatsale however, we may be able to work out a payment plan, if we like you enough!
Q: How do I get liked? O.o
A: Well, follow all the rules and stick around and chat with us! We love people who chat!
Q: What if I have a question that isn't on this little Q&A board thing?
A: Simple, ask it in the thread or PM it to Professor Thorn. We'll get the answer to you somehow!
