I found this while logging off Hotmail at school, it's rather interesting biggrin Quote: Doctor Who will apparently come face to face with a future version of himself in this year's Christmas episode. According to The Sun, the Time Lord sees a damsel in distress, and as he goes to save her she is intercepted by another man - the Doctor from the future, played by David Morrissey. "He steps forward to save her when this other man swings in, dashing, brilliant, amazing, clever, witty, saves the day," the show's creator Russell T Davies is quoted as saying. The two Time Lords then become companions for the duration of the festive episode. Last year's Christmas episode of the sci-fi show - which stars David Tennant as the Doctor - featured a guest turn by pop princess Kylie Minogue. It's the first plausible thing I've heard about the Specials in a while XD.

Another item of info for you lovelies! Quote: Russell T. Davies' new book confirms title of the 2008 Doctor Who Christmas Special - or does it? The Writer's Tale, (Russell T. Davies & Benjamin Cook's brand new behind-the-scenes book) hits the shelves next Thursday, but as review copies reach the hands of columnists and website editors, a few pearls have presented themselves before a waiting audience. According to the book, this years Doctor Who Christmas special is titled 4.14: The Next Doctor, with several references to the title including a photo of David Morrissey with the caption of 'David Morrissey in 4.14: The Next Doctor'. But before you get the party poppers out, the book also reveals that the 2007 Christmas special (3.14: Voyage of the Damned) was originally going to be called 3.14: Starship Titanic. With around 12 weeks left until Christmas, we don't have long to find out for sure, but in the meantime, DWO highly recommend The Writer's Tale to pass the time in-between. It's a thoroughly enjoyable read that gives all fans a rare insight into the making of Doctor Who. Full review coming soon to DWO. That goes hand-in-hand with the information I posted before really, doesn't it! Of course the name will probably change, but meeeehhhhhhh!

Filming for the specials starts on January the 19th.
The book is amazing! I brought it today when I went to see the talk Russell and John did.

Cool.
I read that there's going to be a Children in Need special with all 7 living doctors ... not keeping my hopes up though.

The rumour has proved false and instead the Children In Need "Special" will be a two minute clip from The Next Doctor. From the image, it seems to be the bit where they meet ... you'd think the next doctor would recognise himself XD

One month until Christmas! I'm very excited (as usual) especially after seeing the two minute clip. I don't really have anything else to say (Sixth Form has eaten my brain.)

On another positive note, i met John Barrowman at his CD signing up Bluewater on the 27th Nov, man he was just as gorgeous in person than on all the shows he's been on. xd
I can't wait to see the Xmas special too because it's gonna be something, two Doctors' in the same episode, well kinda. sweatdrop
