Got a few questions...
Soul, when you say Masato, are you referring to Masato Kobayashi? Just curious.
Second, don't we all hate Lee's movies? Well, besides me cause I think they're funny as hell. He's like a monkey with nunchucks! (did I spell that right?)
Third, can't we all just get along?
... I'm kidding on the third. Beat each other up, it's funny.

Beat each other up, it's funny. Soul is banned. I appreciate Lee's movies in that it brought martial arts to a wider audience, but I detest the pseudo mystical nonsense that litters them. He also practised the art of acting without acting. Good point, well made.

Mad respect to ya DarklingGlory for that very insightful, philosophical, and true statement. Any decent martial artist can appreciate Bruce Lee's movies, dispite any personal problems with them.

Sure, even though I laugh a lot when I watch them, I can still appreciate them. About the only thing I didn't like was the fact that he never got beat up and bloodied up in many of his movies, if not all. Kind of like Pierce in the James Bond movies he starred in.

Yeah, well, that is the movies of that time. I was watching Shaft a few days ago, and don't get me wrong I love the movie, but the brotha runs like mile with out panting in the end. Bruce gets in unrealistic one sided fights, and Richard runs miles with out having to rest. It is the movies of the throwback.
You can't help but laugh at the movies, and still appreciate them.
