Generally, I tend to startle easily so the paranormal startles me but I don't necessarily fear it generally. Of course, I would be apprehensive of entities wishing me harm (whether they can actually hurt me or not) but any other being, no matter the type, wouldn't frighten me. 3nodding

i was really scared of it a long time ago but now since i know alot it is scary somethings but i know what i need to know

Nope. Generally I find things that I don't quite believe in to be more frightening than the things I do.

Generally I'm not scared of ghosts or other similar things. Then again, I've never been in a frightening position with a ghost, not since childhood. I'm very interested in the occult, rather than scared.
However, the idea of possession frightens me in a vague way and I've always been terrified of aliens. I'm still scared of aliens. I used to pray every night that, when I'm abducted, I wouldn't remember it. razz

i am scared of the paranormal
i love control...so go figure
i wish i could be like the ones who are saying they are not scared
but then id be scared somebody would try to prove me wrong
and show me that i need to be scared
i am also parinod...im not sure if that goes one in one so i needed to add it
but the irony is when i am in any sorta of scarey situation
i become what others would see as brave
even if im on the verge of having a panic attact

Aryain Flames if u fear something, u give it power. thats why hexes don't work, u have to believe they will. i fear nothing paranormal, i just give everything healthy respect, LOL And yet...when one tell someone you have cursed them...they believe it and think that you have cursed them and thus create their own demons. And you just sit back and watch the fun without even casting a curse. Mind over matter, but don't forget the matter. I know about the "paranormal" (I hate calling it that) therefore I fear it. I know the dangers of it and what it can and cannot do. But I respect it greatly, but not like the Christian way of fearing god to respect him or something. I fear aspects of it, much like I fear the dark aspect of the Master, but I respect him at the same time. I suppose it isn't really...FEAR so much as AWE. They are so awesome sometimes that fear rips through to your core because you're like WTF SHIELD NOW!!!! ARGH my aura is torn. Or something along those lines. FFF, Angus

nighttime is my favorite time of day but at that time I'm paranoid about ghosts being everywhere. Im not afraid of ghosts but this really annoys me.

I can understand why most people ARE afraid of the paranormal, however, unless you posess specific abilities you have nothing to fear (usually) The only TRUE time to be afraid of ghosts/spirits/whathaveyou is if your practicing some kind of magick and you mess up (necromancy has the biggest chance of attracting some dark ghost/spirit/whatever to you, but they ALL have their risks). But usually people are afraid of something they dont understand, thats why graveyards empty out before sundown. So just try to stay careful when practicing your magicks and if you do end up with a visitor, just try to protect yourself with some kind of spell or herbs (or just make a ring of salt, it works!)
