Hmmph. Stupid Vash--lately he'd been spending more and more time with Dane, who still terrified Rasik to the point that the young tale wouldn't even approach the tall blond...there was just something to the way he carried himself that made the unicorn boy avoid him, when possible. Most of the time, he didn't resent the other--after all, Vash still spent many of the evenings when Dane was not staying over with him, or took him out into the backyard to play during the day--today, however, Rasik found himself angry at everything and anyone.

Then there'd been the arrival of -them-. He didn't even call them by name, as to do so would be acknowledging that they belonged here--Vashtya had brought home a lamp, from which had emerged some pink and teal monstrosity who had proceeded to tear apart anything electronic that she could get her hands on...and shortly thereafter, a white and gold unicorn...thing, that was actually so beautiful that Rasik found himself fighting the urge to run his chubby fingers through the kyunru's silken tresses.

And then, to add insult to injury, Vashtya had gone and gotten himself into a fight, and hadn't even thought to tell -him- about it, until Dane had vacated the premises in the midst of what had sounded like an argument.

That said, it was a good thing that Rasik had long since learned how to take small amounts of blood from many sources, so as to not leave any unable to go about life normally--he'd even discovered, much to his delight, that he seemed able to lull people (or animals) into a sort of semi-trance, when he looked deeply into their eyes. Vashtya had told him one day that it was kind of like looking into a fire, with oranges and reds flicking across one's field of vision...

Shaking his head, the dark colored child kicked a stray dust-bunny as he descended the final stair, flopping crankily into one of the sofas that inhabited the spacious living room. Vashtya was puttering around the kitchen, and while usually Rasik would have followed him with a cheerful offer to help--especially since the half-elf hadn't yet had time to recover from the cracked ribs, broken pinky finger and recently un-dislocated shoulder he'd received from some kind of fight a day or two ago, however, this afternoon he simply leaned back against the sofa pillows, crimson eyes glowing slightly in the late-afternoon dimness.

To be continued....(still has to meet Lala and Astraeus! XD)
