When the dust settled only three people stood up.
The one named Kirby is coughing and waving her hand in front of her face, futilely trying to clear the smoke.
"What happened?" she manages to eek out in between hacks.
"The thrusters were blocked, m'am. Our attempted jump into hyper-drive just cost us a lot of hull security. We need to land." the first man says, pulling himself into his co-pilot chair and wiping off his monitor.
"Report, Willis." the one named Kirby barked.
"Uh, well m'am, the nearest planet is a class 4. We can't legally land there." the one who was called Willis responded while pushing the corpse of a former comrade out of a seat.
"We'll have to make it a quiet landing then." Kirby quipped.
The very damaged cargo ship slowly bends to the will of the gravity of the planet below it, and begins to arch slightly towards it.
"M'am we have a complete control lockout!" the co-pilot yells "A virus has gotten into the system!"
"Men, hold on!" Kirby screams as the ship plummets.
This time, when the dust clears, only one stands up.
"Men?"
"Willis?"
"Al?"
"Anybody?"
The one named Kirby is now alone, stranded on a distant planet with little to no resources.
TUNE IN NEXT WEEK FOR EPISODE TWO.

*laughs* my thoughts exactly! I was like "ahhhhhhhhhhhh wtf?" I totally have to tune int *looks back at own sentence* Holy Moly I sound like a valley girl song with my likes and totallys *flips hair dramatically* hehe
