Welcome to Gaia! ::

This is just a "heads up" post for ya'll. A friend recently asked me how I'm doing and, considering what has happened in my family, I have decided to post it up here, especially since it kinda makes me "sluggish" - very little energy to post other stuff (RPing, though I want to!).



My uncle committed suicide on the 30th of June and my family (including me) is still recovering from the tragedy. I am thankful, though, that he did pass away on a week of summer that I was not working or else we would have had more difficulties (me possibly not being around for the funeral or to help support my mother and my grandmother). He was the youngest of three - my mother's only brother - at the age of 44. He left behind his two children - 15 and 10.

Aside that, we had a good week that week - sparklers and firecrackers, fishing and recollecting the past.
I also went and bought a GameCube. I have MarioKart, Pokémon Colosseum, Quidditch World Cup and a few other games. You better believe that I played those games with my siblings so that we didn't get in the way while my parents and grandparents planned the funeral and so that we didn't get depressed. Gotta love gaming!

I'm doing good. It hurts to know that my uncle was hurting so much emotionally that he had to get rid of himself, but I am accepting the fact that he is gone.

So, if anything, please pray for me and my family.

(P.S. I don't have much spare time for Gaia, so I might not post anywhere anytime soon. I work about 40 hrs a week, plus reading Dante's Purgatory and stuff like that. Don't forget about spending time with my family and resting.)
