The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Saw them in Salt Lake City 2 years ago. I got to dance on stage with them...and there was a freakn CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN TOO! 3nodding

Count Basie, Herbie Hancock, and Eddie Harris are pretty good. Cold duck time is one of my favorite pieces.

I love any of Stan Getz's ensembles. It's hard to pick, though...
