Hm...
I don't think it's a bad idea... If you do it right.
Some helpful Ouija Hints:
- Always start with a good outlook on it! Expect good things and be respectful.
- Always use protection, before you begin!
- Make sure to only ask for good spirits.
- Make sure to, when you get a spirit, ask if it's a good one.
- Never ask a spirit to prove itself. It draws in bad things.
- Just let one person ask the questions. It's less confusing that way.
- If you want, use a WHITE candle and a circle of salt around all participating.
- Don't ask about death :3
- Be polite. :3
- Don't demand an answer, they may not want to. Might be a touchy subject.
- When you're finished, move the planchette [The pointer] to the
"Goodbye" and remove your hands.
- If the spirit's being mean, you have the right to end the session.
- Don't believe everything the board tells you.
- Have fun!

I always get the bad answers and jokers and stuff.

That's what I usually hear from people.
But there's a lot of bad stories, that's why I'm hesitant.
Anyway I might try to use it.
Do you think it's better to do it alone or with a group?

You should always do it in a group!
Preferably 3-4 people, one being a scribe and writing down the
questions and answers.
Always have 2-3 people on the planchette at a time, try not to
have more than 3, though. Then it gets crowded and not as accurate.

NEVER DO THAT!
by doing so u can open a doorway to H E double Hocky sticks (sorry i can not say it)
then a demon can come out
and if u do do this then do NOT burn the board after contacting a spirt or demon
it will not boad well, lets just say that

I don't get the bad hype about them, honestly.
How can a piece of CARDBOARD hurt you?
It doesn't do anything.
Hell, if there was something bad there, it was
there already and it would come out eventually.
Same with Tarot cards.
It's just cardboard.
All about interpretation, really.
Imho.

Actually, Ghost Hunters team said it attracts mostly bad spirits.

Eh, maybe because lots of people do it wrong
and it's like a something saying "Hey! You come here, people can talk to you!"
Y'know?
But, IMHO, only because they don't use protection
and stuff of the sort, so the 'baddies' could come and scare them.

Haha it's okay.
Yeah, I guess a lot of things could go wrong if you go about it carelessly.
Personally, I'm not willing to take the risk of anything bad happening.
I'm easily scared anyway. ;P

Within using an Ouji board, your opening up the area your in, and yourself to any type of spirit. Predominantly though, 'evil' spirits, since your technically trespassing into their realm. My suggestion, don't use them. As Dragoon Knight said, it does open a portal. Its a connection from this realm, and the realm of spirits. Yeah, it can be cool, but do you really want to endanger yourself and those with you for a small little piece of fun?
