Okay, the boring stuff is over.
Okay, the game is going to be named Sonic the Hedgehog, in honor of the 15th anniversary for Sonic. This ofcourse means, the game isn't coming out until next year. Oh, and this also makes the Revolution useless in my opinion. The game is coming out for the 360 and PS3. Anyways, if you don't want to take a look at the pictures, they're pretty realistic looking, and sonic looks AMAZING, especially with the lighting. His hedges even fly up alittle when you're jumping down! No, that doesn't mean sonic looks like a hedgehog from real life. Why would you even want that to happen? confused
Anyways, Sonic ofcourse has his old moves, and a few new ones. They've used a realistic engine on the game, such as actually giving objects weight. The enemies now have ragdoll physics, and those physics can be used to interact with some of the environment.
Can't forget about that lighting. It's actually going to change in this game. Change just as sonic's design has, once again. Actually, it seems he's reverting back to his basic design. You know, the genesis design, only taller and more slender since the package art alsways seemed to make him fat. He also had actions if you leave him standing there, like in SA2/:B. They've also considered making Sonic's fur actually look furry, and his shoes rubbery, but so far that's not the look.
Ofcourse, the game was revealed very early, so this probably won't be seen in the final version. Remember to keep checking in on it though.
