I`m thinking of getting one,though i`m not sure what it really is.Is it a little amp you connect to input jack?Cause that`s what i`m thinking.

Head phone amps are kinda not worth the money most of the time they sound prity bad, and you can only plug head phones into them. You can get a nice mini amp that would sound way better then a head phone amp, like dean's, and get a 1/4-1/8 adapter.

Roland Cubes are prity sweet little things. Though if you really need the compactness of a headphone amp, go for the rocktron one, that's the best one from what I can tel.
